First time visiting 9 North and we had a great experience. Megan was our server and she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down.

We started with the Empire Pickle Martini and Bear’s Espresso Martini—both were delicious. The pickle martini was surprisingly amazing (especially if you’re a pickle lover).

For food we ordered the Boujee Grilled Cheese, the Fried Green Tomato BLT, a kids BLT, and the Fish and Chips. Everything was excellent. The portion sizes are generous and you definitely won’t leave hungry.

Great service, great food, and a fun menu. We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in town!

Great experience for our first visit! We had a group of 9 dining on a Friday. We went in at 4:30. Alex is a great server! Super friendly & a mover. Our drinks were filled continuously. We didn’t buy alcohol this meal. Our full meals came out within 30 min, which is what I expect with what I was hoping, FRESH food. We were not disappointed. I missed taking a pic of the mozzarella app, but OMG, it looked delicious & was told they were very yummy! My food allergies keep me from trying most food, but everyone said everything was delicious! We all got different meals, except the 2 cheesesteak eaters. I called earlier in the day & spoke with Kayla. She was very helpful with telling me how they prepare the items I can eat. I decided to choose the special; Scottish salmon, asparagus, & rice pilaf. The salmon was delicious! Not dry at all! And the amount of asparagus is more than I’ve ever gotten anywhere! Thank you! They were both seasoned nice. The rice was eh, but it’s eh anyway, but mixed with the fish & veggies, yum! We will be back! The inside remodel is beautiful! Looking forward to try the bar.

I want to start this off by saying the other reviews scared me. Seemed to be really hit or miss. Was about to not commit to trying, but we decided to and I can tell you it was a GREAT decision to do so.

We went on Tuesday where they were having a taco special. My fiancé got the filet street taco. Just one to try. And we also got the mozzarella sticks (cubes) for starters.
Both were delicious! The taco was on point. Should have got that for the meal! Mozzarella cubes had a great seasoned breading flavor and a seriously amazing cheese pull! Home made ranch is perfect match.

For meals we got kids mac n cheese; loved it was made with pinne noodles. Soaked up all the cheesy goodness and definitely a 3 year old favorite!
Fiancé got the beer cheese burger and I got the crispy chicken sandwich with garlic parm sauce.
The burger was sensational he said! Perfect balance of flavor, cheese, and juiciness. He loved the beer cheese. I wasn’t a fan of the cheese, simply because it was a very hoppy beer that was just too bitter for me. Winner for him.
The chicken sandwich was breaded perfectly, great seasoning in breading mix to where you can physically see it. The chicken was incredibly juicy which I was worried it may not be based on other reviews. The tossing in garlic parm sauce was definitely a boss move! Flavor was sooo good! Not to mention the pickles on top didn’t even make it on the sandwich. Amazing bread and butter pickles!
And fries!!! I don’t know why so many people have hated on the fries. Those were REAL fries. Great flavor and the ranch is a great match for the saltiness of them.

So if you’re reading reviews of this place. Take the negative ones with a grain of salt.
We went around 1:30 on a Tuesday and was lightly dusted with patrons, good music, beautiful atmosphere and bathroom is gorgeous!

Server seemed to know what was good to choose from and seemed very friendly. Fiancé loved her accent. I believe she said New Hampshire.

Price is a little steep, but again. There are no other establishments around like this. And let’s be real you get quality food and spend about $10-20 more than you would at McDonald’s for trash.

Thanks for the great experience. We will be coming back especially since we are locals.

I came to 9N with high hopes, and left even more impressed than expected. The layout alone stands out: the restaurant and bar are thoughtfully separated, so if you’re after a low-key dinner, you won’t be competing with the bar crowd or the game on TV. But if you’re in the mood for sports and good company, the bar itself is exceptional — big, vibrant screens in a space that feels stylish without trying too hard.

Food-wise, I rarely rave, but the filet mignon was as close to perfect as I’ve had in years: tender, deeply flavorful, cooked exactly as ordered. The ribeye was right up there too, juicy and finished with that little bit of char that makes you want to savor every bite.

Appetizer highlight? The beer cheese with massive Bavarian pretzel, This combo can miss the mark at lesser places—usually too salty or bland—but here, the cheese is packed with flavor, and you can actually taste the beer without it overpowering things. Paired with warm, buttery, flaky pretzel, this was a table favorite.

Even the sides are handled with care. I almost always reach for the pepper vinegar with collard greens, just out of habit, but 9N’s are so good, there’s simply no need. They struck that balance of soulful and fresh; I’d eat them as a meal on their own.

In short, 9N sticks the landing on everything that matters: food, vibe, and thoughtful design. I’ll definitely be back, well worth the drive from Orlando!

My son and I were looking around for somewhere to eat and found 9N Grill on Google maps. It looked good enough so we stopped there. We were seated immediately and a quick look at the menu made it apparent that their food is FRESH! In addition, the service was fantastic. Our waitress was sweet and greeted us with a smile; a welcome departure from the kings of poor customer service which has unfortunately become too normal.

We started with an order of fried mozzarella and then got the Beer Cheese burger and a grilled chicken sandwich. O.M.G! It was all absultely delicious! My son was taking about that burger for days!
We will definitely be stopping there again!

2 of us went for lunch and arrived about 20-30 min after opening, we were greeted and seated right away, server was friendly and took good care of us. Started with the fried pickles and were not disappointed at all, tasted great with a perfect pickle to batter ratio. The beer cheese smash burger was amazing! The way it’s served in the pool of beer cheese was perfect and made for the perfect bite each time plus had plenty of the beer cheese left for dipping my fries! It was a 40 minute drive from my house and was totally worth it, can’t wait to go back!

I decided to take my son for his to dinner on his Birthday. I am so glad I chose this establishment. Service was good. Food was delicious. If you skip dessert, you are missing out on some amazing Carrot Cake.

Let me start by saying that as a local in the town I was very excited when I heard about this restaurant and the vision that they had to offer.
Maybe my expectations were just too high with all of the hype that I was seeing online but here is my honest review and critique. (Given with love, I’m rooting for a local spot like this to thrive!)

During my recent visit, I had the opportunity to sample a variety of menu items, and while the overall experience was mixed, a few highlights stood out.

Beer Cheese Burger – 6.5/10
The burger was good and cooked well, but it lacked the “wow” factor of a truly memorable burger. It was enjoyable but not exceptional.

Fries – 4/10
The fries were underwhelming—neither particularly crispy nor served hot. A bit more attention to temperature and texture would greatly improve this side.

Philly Cheesesteak – 3/10
Unfortunately, this was one of the more disappointing items. The meat was overcooked, dry, and overly crispy, with very little cheese to balance it out. The sandwich was also on the smaller side, leaving it unsatisfying overall.

Fried Mozzarella – 7/10
A solid appetizer and one of the better items of the meal. While the menu described them as “oversized,” they didn’t quite live up to that claim—but the flavor and texture were satisfying.

Bavarian Pretzel – 6/10
The pretzel was impressively large and tasted good, though after having an Amish-style pretzel elsewhere, this one felt a bit less remarkable by comparison (perhaps an unfair standard, admittedly).

Beer Cheese – 6/10
The beer cheese was serviceable but lacked depth of flavor. It paired decently with the pretzel but wasn’t particularly memorable.

Wings (Parmesan Garlic) – 2/10
Easily the weakest item of the night. The wings had almost no discernible flavor, especially disappointing for a Parmesan garlic variety. They tasted like frozen chicken and lacked the expected seasoning or crispness.

House-Made Sauces – 7/10
The house-made sauces—ranch, honey mustard, and avocado ranch—were actually a pleasant surprise. Each had a fresh, balanced flavor and complemented several dishes nicely.

Overall Impression
While a few menu items showed potential, the execution across most dishes was inconsistent. Temperature, texture, and seasoning were recurring issues that diminished what could have been a strong dining experience. With a few adjustments, particularly in preparation and flavor balance, this restaurant could elevate its offerings considerably.

I will be sure to check back in a couple weeks to see how things are once they settled into a rhythm with the new restaurant and menu items. A local spot like this in town is much needed so I hope they can nail down the menu a bit further.

Environment is amazing. The bar is beautiful. 4 of us went for dinner. We truly enjoyed our visit. The food was great. The buffalo blue cheese wings are perfect. That blue cheese was a blue cheese lovers dream. The fish dip was on point. That Guinness gravy on the bangers and mash is divine. I could swim in it. Salmon and sides were delish and lite. Chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy. And if you love homemade hot sauces please try “Hawks Hot”. So good. Its got heat, real heat. For dessert I had the Italian lemon cake which was just what the doctor ordered. Can’t wait to go back to try the smash burgers and then the steaks. Both visually incredible. Lets remember this isnt a corporate chain restaurant This is a local business owned and run by local people. Good people doing good things. Show some love to 9North. They deserve it!
