First off …I’m glad you brought back the Chicken and Sausage Al Forno, as that was what I ordered! However, it was NOT as good as I remembered it being!! Mine barely had enough sauce on it (very dry)! . My buddy ordered a fish sandwich! The main problem was the attitude of the server Colleen! She was good bringing out the food, but she had ZERO patience for my friend, who has a slight developmental disability (mild autism). Instead of trying to understand my friend, which is very easy to do, she kept looking at me! After she brought his ice tea (after erroneously bringing him hot tea) she basically IGNORED him, and looked at me to order for him!! She had ZERO patience! When we were eating she asked me if MY meal was okay, but again, she completely ignored my friend!! UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR for anyone working in any capacity dealing with the public!! Colleen should be happy she doesn’t have a disability!! BOTTOM LINE …the next time I go to the New Hartford 99 Restaurant, and I get Colleen as my server, I’m either going to leave or ask for another server! Obviously there’s other restaurants out there that will treat my friend better!

This has been the go to date spot for my Fiancé and I because we know that if we go to 99, we will enjoy the entire experience.
We have visited 4 times now. One of my biggest factors I think about in a restaurant is consistency.
They start out the experience bringing out a bowl of popcorn, which is always super buttery. I try not to eat too much of it to save room for the rest of the meal, but it is difficult not to. It truly competes with movie theatre popcorn.
I will start off with appetizers. When you visit 99, 1000% order the boneless wings. This is where their consistency truly shows. Every other restaurant I have gotten boneless wings from are inconsistent. Sometimes over cooking them, sometimes they have very little sauce. At 99, they delivered perfectly tender wings that will melt in your mouth each time. The sauce ratio is perfect, not too little and not too much, although I do love my sauce.
My go to order is a cheeseburger. The first thing I will try in a new restaurant because if you mess up a simple burger, I do not have much faith in your other food. I rate a burger by whether it needs sauce added or not. If I can enjoy a cheeseburger and dont need to add ketchup, mustard, or any sauce, then that is a good burger. And of course, 99 delivered. No sauce needed here, you can enjoy the cheeseburger as it is and expect a mouthful of wonderful flavor. The fries that come with the burger are also very good.
Next thing we tried were the steaks. Similar to a burger, you know a steak is good if you don’t need any sauce. Like everything else, the steaks were great. Beautifully seasoned like a party in your mouth and cooked just the way you want them to be.
Last is the staff. They are all very friendly and patient each time we go. They really create a positive atmosphere that makes us want to keep coming back.
Overall, 99 is a fantastic restaurant to go to for any occasion and best of all will not break the bank. It will provide you with a friendly and calming atmosphere. Relax as you sit and eat your delicious meal.

We have eaten here since it opened in the area and the food has remained good but the restaurant has remained unchanged. It felt more like a Denny’s than a 99 but the food was great. On our visit they were only staffed for a half full restaurant and they jammed us into half the restaurant and didn’t seat waiting guests until a table opened despite half the restaurant not being used. Staffing seemed to be the reason.

Great service and clean. The burger had a smoked taste but no flavor. It was cooked as ordered medium rare. The boneless wings were good but portion size small for an XL.

Ahhh maybe not 99 but here are a few: friendly, clean, not too fancy, casual atmosphere, reasonable prices, lots of choices, food specials, drink specials, free popcorn, cool bar, trivia night to name most. For all these reasons and I’m sure there are more, this place is a winner. The seafood gumbo was not the best tasting I’ve had and it was on the lighter side, not the thick creamy kind you’d expect but still a bowl fill of seafood with nice flavor to have. The warm lobster roll was stuffed high tasty and tender, as was the rack of ribs very tender fall of the bone good!
Give it a try, sure to please you, Enjoy!

Used to be a good place to go. Recently, food lukewarm, meat grizzly in a french dip. Smaller meals. Also – the menu has been changed and downsized with not as many appetizers listed. Doubt I’ll be back.

A friend and I decided to come here for dinner last night because we have not been here in a while.
I think this made us remember why we don’t ever come here..
We definitely added this place to our “never again” list.
Very disappointed with the waitress we had, (attitude was awful)
as well as our tv dinner tasting food.

Came here for lunch and had a great time. The waitress and staff were very friendly. At the end of my meal she brought a box without even asking which was nice.
For a starter, I ordered the fajita Flatbread. It was great, I would come back just for that. The flavors of the tomatoes and spices mixed with the chicken and freshly cooked bread was perfect.
I had the fried flounder platter as a main. I was thinking that it was going to be a few small pieces for the price but I got a mountain of fish. Fried perfectly and not greasy, just how it should be.
I didn’t expect a lot from this place but I got a very pleasant surprise. Great place

We arrived and it wasn’t busy at all, employees where opening the door to let others out welcoming, went to our table dirty underneath, waitress came over she seems to be irritated or in a rush after ordering was out of the way her attitude changed and she was quite pleasant food came fairly quickly, when popcorn arrived it was put in a wet bowl, other food was alright not bad but not omg good, all in all it was kinda a last resort for the night I’m not sure we would return! When we left no one opened doors to go out not even a goodbye have a nice night… its ok not impressed
