I ordered the All‑Star Burger expecting… well, something all‑star. What I got was the exact opposite. The patty had zero seasoning and was completely drowned out by an overbearing charred taste that made every bite worse than the last. I couldn’t even finish a quarter of it. When the server asked if I needed a box, it was an immediate and emphatic absolutely not.
For a place advertising an “All‑Star” anything, this was a total disappointment. Even with a little extra salt and ketchup did not bring this burger to life. I left hungry and annoyed not exactly the experience you hope for when you go out to eat.
My server Kylie enhanced the experience along with the nostalgic 2000s tunes playing in the background. The dimly lit places gives a doom and gloom vibe like everyone hates their job. If you want mediocracy feel free to dine here. I recommend a no.

The food was just okay but the service was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful! It was a Saturday night and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Lots of easy parking. I would go back just for that and it seems family-friendly too.

The hot buttery lobster roll was so delicious. The clam chowder was so good I had to get a second helping. The warm cookie and ice cream were fantastic. Jean was so helpful in picking out the perfect meal for us and fast with our beer refills. Will definitely be back

Steak tips are always our #1 pick at 99! We always get a decent amount of steak, cooked and flavored perfectly, topped with the fixings. To start, the seafood stuffies are cheap and delicious. Plus, our favorite bartender, Marissa, pours the best beer! We love the 9s and can always count on a quick, cheap, tasty meal.

We’ve been living in the area about 11 months, but never came in this place. Decided to try it after seeing they have giant pretzels, which our son loves. We were not disappointed. The pretzel was indeed giant and quite good. The potato skins and fried cauliflower were great appetizers. And the chicken pot pie is super tasty and filled with chicken, unlike some places in the area. Lastly, our server Josh was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back as this is one of the very few places in Newport that exceeds expectations and gives you good food and service at a decent price.

Laine was our server and she was amazing! I didn’t catch the name of the hostess, but she was very professional and friendly as well.
The food itself was great. I only knocked one star off because some at our table complained that there wasn’t a lot of chicken in the buffalo chicken dip. Other than that, the Vermont Cheddar burger was decent, and the Raspberry Lime Refresher was really good. Our table also loved that they automatically bring you out a bowl of popcorn to munch on while waiting for your food. And my son really liked that kids get an ice cream sandwich with their meal. A welcome kids menu twist.

I don’t know what is going on with this place! The prices have gone up and the food quality has gone down… Makes me really sad :/ The balsamic chicken and country fried chicken are just awful! Not sure if they’re under or overcooking the chicken or if it’s just not good cuts?? The balsamic Salmon is really good and I’m glad they’ve added new sides but it’s just disappointing to have inedible food for the price you’re paying.

Chain restaurant nothing super special. Respectable amount of draft beers compared to other 99s. No keno at the bar which was lame. Chicken wrap was good but only had like three small pieces of chicken in it.

The food was great. The placed looks cleaned and well kept. The service was ok, it could have been better. We order 2 dinners. We were asked if we want onion and pepper with the steak. We agree. We got the receipt, and we was charged $1.79 for the onions and pepper. I was not told that it was going to be an extra charge. It would have been nice if we were told. That is why I am given a 1 star review. It was not about the money. It was about trying to be sneaky
