We had an amazing experience at 99, thanks to our waitress, Tara! She was absolutely excellent—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. She checked in at just the right times, kept our drinks full, and made us feel truly cared for. It’s rare to find service this genuine and professional. Tara definitely deserves recognition for making our meal so enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for her next time you visit!

Called to place a to-go order. Doug answered the phone and couldn’t care less about his tone or his attitude. After I was done placing my order, I explained that I have an allergy and just wanted him to note it. His response ‘yup, got it, no pineapple in the buffalo wings…because it usually comes with pineapple, ma’am’ NO Doug, it doesn’t usually come with pineapple. However, when placing an order, I should tell you about my allergy so everyone can take a moment and make sure there isn’t cross-contamination. He was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I told him to forget about the order if he isn’t going to take it seriously, and he said, ‘I already did and hung up the phone on me. All for simply stating I have a pineapple allergy? I will never go back to this 99. They don’t care about allergies

We were here 6 years ago while in the area, so we wanted to come back. I’m from the south, so some salt was needed to enhance the flavor on the appetizer. The food was decent (the Buffalo bites on the Mac and cheese were amazing)! The prices were decent.

Long established and well-known family friendly New England style pub chain. “The 99” on Main Street in Tewksbury is free standing and has its own parking lot. Many cozy booths and separate bar area. Very friendly and helpful service. Food is standard pub fare. Fun fall Sam Adam’s beer special (see my pic). Relatively easy access from I-495; it’s about 3 minutes from the exit and conveniently located near a gas station for fuel ups. Recommended.

We started with outdoor dining but it was not for me there were quite a few people who seemed to be enjoying it perfectly fine but the breeze kept blowing the kids menu and a fly kept circling i was over it so we moved inside. But for someone who doesn’t hate the outdoors it will be fine. The hostess was very friendly and moved us back in without being upset. So we ordered the appetizers on special and they were very yummy. Our server was very nice and friendly i wish I remembered his name he was very tall with dark skin. He he was handling tables inside and outside semmlessly. It was an enjoyable lunch the tables inside were spaced out with plastic barriers for extra protection. I will definitely come back here we had a great experience and a great value with the happy hour specials which we could never use previously because the patron was required to be seated at the bar to recieve the deals which I always found disappointing and infuriating and unfair. Im glad they relaxed the rules i hope they keep it this way after the pandemic so everyone can enjoy the deals not just certain customers.

I had such a craving for French Onion Soup that I had to stop in and get some to go. I was a little leery about getting that soup to go, how would the cheese be melted on top? Etc…they did a great job packaging it separately. I could only add one piece to the soup at a time, the broth went right to the top of the bowl. It was delicious.

Stopped in with a crew of tired hungry kids on our way back to N.H. From Great Wolf Lodge and we were very satisfied with our stop! The staff was wonderful, our food was absolutely delicious, and the checkout time was very quick which is what we needed since we were heading home. Overall, excellent experience. Will eat again!

Atmosphere is fine and the server was nice. But the salmon had way too much pepper that it overwhelmed the glaze. The broccoli and mashed potatoes lacked flavor.

I recently went there for dinner, and the host, Doug, was so rude that by the time we even got to the table, we decided to leave. He put such a bad taste in my mouth that I would not go back to this 99 if he is working. I didn’t realize a host could ruin a night out.
