I loved this place. The sushi chef used to be at another place I went to in the past. The atmosphere was amazing and the service at the sushi bar was spectacular. I kept asking the sushi chef Kong catered to my whim of having whatever he thought was amazing. It was a fun time and will be back.

Awesome food. Great service. I’ve walked by this restaurant many times. Finally stopped by to check it out and wow, is it good. When I started telling other people about the restaurant apparently they all love it as well. So if you’re in the area and you get a chance, definitely eat here.

This is a great little place we discovered while walking on Central Avenue.
We proceeded immediately for lunch and our waitress menace immediately. My wife and I both ordered a single dish.
Food was plentiful and very tasty. We enjoyed it very much.
No hesitation to recommend this restaurant.

8.5.10 — great thai food in St. Pete with a quaint, kitschy vibe and a nice staff. I’ve been here a few times, and I always love my food. The pad see ew is savory and saucy, but balanced. The sushi is always good and fresh. On my most recent visit, my waitress was so nice and accommodating, she even offered to modify my maki roll (which I never do) and it was delicious. If you’re craving thai food, definitely go here. They’re so reliable!

Lunch review:
A friendly spot for a quick and delicious lunch. They immediately bring out the soup and little veggie spring roll to get the party started! We ordered panang curry chicken, which was perfection! Lunch with tip was $20.

Dinner:
We started with a delicious soup and opted for a pot to share. I loved the presentation with a lit soup bowl. I got my usual, Panang Curry Chicken with medium spice, it was pretty spicy. My hubs got pad Thai. Both were delicious. The service was great and the restaurant is cute and authentic feeling. They also have a sushi bar.

It’s been a while since I’ve stopped in for lunch on a whim, but was craving Thai and luckily the parking gods opened a spot for me after driving around for 10 mins. Central Avenue needs more parking but I digress. As soon as I walked in, I was quickly seated and brought water, clear broth soup w/ rice and fried garlic w/ scallions(I honestly could eat a large bowl of that) and a crisp spring roll w/ a sweet ish orange duck sauce before ordering. I enjoyed a chicken pad Thai(the best in the city!) w/ a side of jasmine rice for an extra fee. The lunch specials are large and filling, $12.95, worth it. Servers are friendly, food comes out quick and fresh.

9 Bangkok Thai and Sushi has one of only 3 “Destination” sushi rolls which I have not seen anywhere else. “The St. Pete Roll” is amazing. Don’t try to bite a piece in half. Put the whole piece in your mouth and let it wash over you. My pics can’t do it justice. I am posting pics of the menu because it’s not available online unless you open a delivery service app.

We enjoyed dining here. The food is good. They have a great lunch menu and a friendly waitstaff. Location is good as it’s on Central Avenue in Saint Pete but parking can be difficult at times. We received complimentary egg rolls and sauce that was very tasty. We will visit again.
