Not my go to place due to the weather everything was closed worked all day removing snow just wanted to Chinese. They were open. I went. I got pork fried rice, steamed chicken and broccoli and an eggroll. I’m sorry for anybody who enjoys this place. The eggroll was disgusting. I threw it out The pork fried rice has that cheap Chinese food after taste the brown sauce tasted like something that came out of a can this steamed chicken and broccoli OK a little salty but it was OK. Everything else now I will never waste my money $17 and change the same thing I got today I get from my local Chinese restaurant that I’ve been going to for over 20 years Three dollars less and the food is 10,000 times better I will never go to this place ever again and I would not recommend it to anybody and I basically threw my money out because the food went right into my garbage

Great food. This place legitimately good compared to other similar American Chinese restaurants. Very nice portion sizes, clean as well. Highly recommend. Straightforward decent tastes, nothing weird or wacky.

This place started strong, but fell a year or two after opening. Happy to say it’s back again with quality food and presentation. Ordered too much food but looking forward to leftovers. Everything was hot and flavorful. Wonton soup, egg roll, spring roll, fried wontons, egg fried rice, general Tso, hunan beef, pork with wide noodle and egg foo young (which we could not touch). Food amount was plentiful. Keep up the good work!
Update: ordered again 11/21. Clearly a 10/10 on everything- taste, presentation, amount. Happy and satisfied. We will be back!

The food is here is by far one of the more reliable places to get Asian Cuisine. The food is not overly fried or heavily seasoned. We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. The customer service is good, however you will need to wait in your car because there isn’t much room to wait inside and no where to sit. Give it a try. Photo is my wife pounding down one of their egg rolls because she can’t wait till we get home (Not oily at all). As healthy as Chinese food can probably get in NYC.

This is a hidden gem in East Rockaway! The food is delicious. We ordered Kung Po Chicken and Gyoza. The chicken came with rice, wonton soup (so good!) and crackers. The gyoza was awesome. We’d definitely come back and use this place as our go-to restaurant for Asian food in the area.

I have been here 3 times and the food is typical take out but the service has been terrible. Every time I ordered for pick up they give the obligatory 25 min and when I got there they started my order so I waited an additional 20 min, and I give restaurants an additional 10 min after what they state cause I know it can be busy at times. This time, and my last time, I put my order in 30 min and got there 45 min after and waited for an additional 15 min while they were making my order. I paid and left and when I was 2 blocks away from my house they called me and told me that they gave me the wrong order and to return it. So I returned the order they gave me and waited another 10 mins for my order and was told sorry. Never going back, typical take out but lots of headaches with this place.

This establishment is clean, welcoming and consistent. However, I came across a customer service representative that insisted either I get something I don’t eat or the can soda I didn’t desire. Why? Because she did not want to do the extra work in her POS system to substitute my requests. When I asked if she can administer ketchup and hot sauce on my fries (in which they have done plenty times before), the representative denied my requests and told me “we are different, not what you are use to” I took it highly offensively, however, responded with a simple okay. I work across the street but I wouldn’t come back to this establishment after such an experience. I do hope they reconsider their policies and cater more to the customers.
