I absolutely love 85°C Bakery Café in Niles! The moment you walk in, the smell of freshly baked bread and pastries hits you — it’s impossible not to smile. Everything looks so fresh and perfectly made. Their sea salt coffee is one of my favorites — the balance of sweet and salty is just perfect. The brioche and taro buns are soft, buttery, and full of flavor.

The staff is always kind and quick, even when it’s busy, and the place feels warm and welcoming to hang out or grab something to go. It’s always spotless and beautifully organized.

If you love high-quality pastries, creative drinks, and a relaxing vibe, this café is a must-visit in Niles! Highly recommend stopping by — you’ll definitely come back again.

85°C Bakery Café is hands down one of my favorite places to grab pastries and coffee. They truly have some of the best pastries I’ve ever tasted—super sweet, soft, and always fresh. The variety is impressive, from savory buns to sweet cakes, and everything pairs perfectly with their famous sea salt coffee. The only tip I’d give is to come early, because the mornings are always packed and popular items sell out fast. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and every visit feels worth it. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to!

When I arrived right before closing, there were only two kinds of bread left, so I bought some to take home. Then I couldn’t resist when I saw the cakes in the store and ended up buying two as well. The overall taste was amazing—not overly sweet, with a great texture. I absolutely loved it! The only downside is that I live a bit far away; otherwise, I would visit all the time.

I finally visited 85°C Bakery in Niles, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the delicious smell of warm, freshly baked pastries. It’s a self-serve setup—grab a tray, pick your favorites, and try not to take everything (it’s hard!).

We sampled a variety of pastries, and some standouts were the sea salt coffee (absolutely a must-try!), the chocolate pudding bun, bacon cheese bread, egg tarts, and the mango cheesecake. Everything was soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciate. Prices are reasonable, and the quality is consistently great.

The space was clean and well-organized, and even though it can get a bit busy (especially on weekends), the staff was friendly and efficient. The only downside is that they only have two tables for seating—definitely more of a grab-and-go spot.

If you enjoy trying unique baked goods or want a cute place to treat yourself to a pastry and coffee, this spot is absolutely worth checking out. I’d go back just for that sea salt coffee and a box of goodies to go!

First time here! Got the salted iced coffee and it was stronger on the coffee side. Tried their red velvet cake too in the past that a co worker brought and that was definitely delicious. Not sooo bad for a first time coming in person. Definitely would try more of their desserts and drinks. Love the variety as well that they have to offer!

not sure what’s with the 1 star reviews, especially with service. been here a couple times myself and i never had any problems with the people working there. always friendly and super helpful with anyone that had questions. the employees make the vibe, and the vibe is always nice.

anyways, i’ll need to workout some kind of schedule so i can make it in time to get some bread. everything sells out so fast! there’s a lot of variety and pretty reasonably priced so i can understand why the shelves are empty sometimes.

keep up the good work. i think y’all are doing great, people are just weird i guess. i will return for my jalapeño bread.

Got super excited to find out that 85C coming to IL. We came at around 9:15am and the shelves were half emptied. Not a lot of selection. No savory items. They’re still doing soft opening but fully staffed. The place got extremely packed by 9:30am. What I like is you can customize your drink here. I added sea salt cream to my Vietnamese coffee and it was pretty good. Just note that the coffee is strong here. I only wish there was more selection. This is the reason I’m giving 4 stars. I’m sure it will improve as they start opening regular hours with better understanding of the foot traffic. Will check back in a few weeks.

So far so good. Lines have not been overbearing. Drinks are made quickly. The recommended salted caramel iced coffee tasted great. With no modifications, the sweetness is just right. Pastries I got, giava croissant and pesto(?) was crispy on the outside and melts in your mouth.
