Loved this cozy eatery. Love the atmosphere as well. We sat in the back that is all windows, where they take advantage of that with many plants, some large and beautiful growing all around. The casual seating and decor made the room feel so enjoyable like I was sitting having lunch at a friend’s home. Was a cold day so we had the soup, which was cactus chilli! Wow never heard of that, so good though! Who knew cactus was sweet, and so tasty? Loved it and would be happy to go back again.

Great eclectic vibe, and can’t wait to visit again to try more of their menu! Great coffee and my caprese sandwich was in point. The dill pickle pasta salad was also yummy. My friends hotdogs were accompanied by some local Carolina Tangy BBQ chips . I also liked the selection of canned fishes and seafood.

This place is wonderful! Hot dogs and pasta salad and chocolate chip cookie were perfect. Excellent assortment of beer and drinks. Beautiful space with the most beautiful display of very happy plants. So cozy and warm with cool music playing. A must try when in Waynesville.

I went to 828 Market for lunch for the first time and had to try the chili dog. Wow! I give it 8 out of 10 and that’s the best rate I’ve ever given a chili dog. Nicely done. The service was great and the atmosphere had a calming zen vibe to it.

Nice upscale local store/cafe with lunches, cookies, take out dinners from the cooler, gifts, snacks, etc. Beer and wine available. Draft and cans/bottles. Kombucha, local sodas, and more! Definitely worth stopping by for a look. You might be surprised by what you find.

My kids and I love this place, friendly people always working there. Nice kids corner to read books and play with toys or color. Tons of board games for a friendly match and even some arcade games. Great selection of canned ciders and beers too. If kids like shaved ice, this is the place! Local art for sale too which makes it even better.
