82 Queen is a wonderful place to enjoy brunch. We ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, Crab Cake appetizer, Lowcountry Breakfast Bowl, and Crab Cake Benedict. Everything was delicious! Since we were celebrating a birthday, they gave everyone at our table a complimentary glass of champagne. What a pleasant surprise! Thank you so much 82 Queen. We cannot wait to return!

Cute location, cute courtyard with seating. Had the mule mocktail, tasty! For food we had the she crab soup, not the best in town, heavy on the flour but tasty all the same. The fried green tomatoes were wonderful. The service was also great, Gretchen was knowledgeable and with specific allergies she offered great alternatives.
Oh and the in house hot sauce was tasty had a great Smokey flavor.

Had a great time here! We ordered the award winning she crab soup, the fried chicken liver, fried chicken and biscuit, and the crab cake Benedict.
Have to say we didn’t love the soup as much as we had expected. It was pretty thick and not enough crab. I did love the fried chicken liver though, it was perfectly fried and paired nicely with the grits.
The crab cake Benedict was great and was a solid pick as well. Fried chicken had good flavor and loved the crispy bits throughout both entrees.
Service was also amazing- we were taken care of very nicely by Philip who was attentive and kind! Overall solid brunch spot

Absolutely delicious, I was here for my anniversary on 01/17 our server was wonderful cracking jokes since we got there to the time we left, food was some of the best I’d ever had. I had the fish and grits the sauce was delicious but the grits could have carried the dish all on its own. My girl had the Filet Mignon and she eats enough steak to put a ranch out of business, and she said it was the best she’d ever had, along with that the mashed potatoes were to die for. For starts we had it was either pork or beef cheek(memory’s not the best) it was delicious would recommend eleven out of tens times. We loved the atmosphere, food, workers, everything. They even left us a little card.

Had dinner here while in Charleston recently – service was good, food was good. Tomato pie was better than I expected, we enjoyed it more than the shrimp and grits appetizer. Wife had the fried fish and grits and devoured it and talked about it for days afterwards. I tried the chicken bog out of childhood nostalgia reasons – crispy chicken skins were a nice touch, it was a bit light on the actual amount of chicken in my opinion so if you’re looking for a solid amount of protein I would choose a different dish. Would definitely return.

This was my most recommended restaurant. I sat in the bar and the ambience was clean, friendly, and warmly quaint. The bar tender (bar maid?). Was very friendly and made you glad to have come in. I ordered fish and grits. The fish was crispy outside and flakey moist inside. The plate was blistering hot and the presentation excellent. I had a club soda.
I had a pleasant conversation with the guest at the next table. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and made us comfortable to chat with strangers.

Stopped in to have a bite at the bar. They have several areas to dine including an interior formal room, a pretty courtyard and a pleasant bar.
The bartender “Mel” was great, professional and worked hard to accommodate the customer.
I only ordered a couple of dishes, the tomato tart, some oysters and a salad. Unfortunately the oysters seemed over cooked or had been left to dry under a heat lamp while the other food was being prepared I am guessing. The tomato tart was good however and the salad was fresh and crisp, however the menu said the salad was priced at $15 and I noticed after I had been charged $21 ( not sure why although I asked for some extra dressing, but $6 – not sure).
Anyway, a pleasant restaurant and worth a visit.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner this evening at 82 Queen living up to its reputation of a classic Charleston 5 star restaurant. Our server Ashley was extremely friendly and informative. In fact service was perfect.
The food itself was a great example of southern / Cajun cuisine. Oyster Rockefeller, jambalaya, spiced grouper all very well prepared and presented. Dessert of bread pudding ( clearly enough to share) was a fitting ending.

I was so excited to come here because I have heard it’s the oldest restaurant in Charleston and people just rave about it but I’m very disappointed in my experience. My friend and I were running late so I do appreciate their flexibility in pushing back our reservation an hour. Since we were running so late my friend I looked at the menu online so we’d be able to order ASAP. We were greeted and sat very quickly it is definitely a cute aesthetic to walk through and have a meal at. It however was so insanely cold the whole time. Our server did come up to us quickly and we asked if we could go ahead and place our whole order and so we did. My friend started with a she crab soup and then we both ordered the chicken biscuit for brunch. My friends soup came out quickly but then it took 35-40 minutes from the time we ordered to get our food. After I think 30 minutes I asked our server if we could go ahead and pay since we saw he was busy and then asked if he could check on our food. We paid and then he quickly came back to tell us that they’re melting the cheese right now so it will be right out. It came out and somehow after waiting that long our food was cold. I honestly don’t know if it’s because of how cold the restaurant was or maybe the wait of the melting of the cheese but it was such a left down. The chicken was fried perfectly and it tasted really good but a cold meal ruins that. We had already paid and fed up at this point we just ate enough to have some food in our stomachs and left. A million cute restaurants in Charleston all with amazing food I just wouldn’t come back here based off this experience.
