Finally a real pub with pub atmosphere. Fantastic lineup of whiskeys, cocktails (try the Fireside Old Fashioned), and beer. The ambience is welcoming and the staff wonderful and adept. The sausage rolls were excellent. We will be going back!

This place is the real deal. A place where you are welcomed, and feel like you are in a village pub.
It’s the people, owner and staff- who make this place so special.
Homemade stews, fresh hot bread, meat or veggie hand pies, and of course their gooey warm chocolate cookies.
Music, community, food, and of course a good pint or a dram.
Thank you 8 Bells ( Tom, Mel, Simon & Erin) for creating this for us to enjoy, and open 7 days a week! So you can pop in any day. I will see you soon.

A wonderful Irish pub experience in Camden. Magners cider, my fave!, on tap. The sausage rolls were exactly what I needed and genuinely saved me from being hangry: perfectly flaky, comforting, and just right as a snack.
The atmosphere felt authentic and welcoming, with a real Irish vibe that made it easy to settle in and stay awhile. Live music was just getting set up as I was leaving, and I was honestly sorry to miss it. A great spot I’ll happily return to.

One of the best pints of Guiness I have had in the US! This pub is so charming, we came here on a Sunday afternoon and they had live Irish music! Highly recommend stopping by for a pint and a sausage roll!

A great atmosphere. Met some wonderful people. The hand pies, Ploughman’s board, and sausage rolls hit the spot. We will be regulars. If you liked the Drouthy Bear back in the day this has the same soul. We could not be happier.

I just love what you’re doing here- your personal story of opening the pub, the atmosphere, the culture, the foods and music, the nautical and Irish foundation of it is so wonderful to see. All the details are so well constructed and is a such a sight for sore eyes! I hope you’re there forever!

Nice Irish pub offering Guinness, Smithwicks, Harp, Magners and other less authentic brews. We had appetizers which were excellent (sausage rolls, boule and butter). Friendly crowd and bar tender. Authentic place.

Heard the live music and just had to go! What a lovely Irish pub with great service and a Guinness! The warm chocolate chip cookies were the perfect top off. Met some friendly folks and thoroughly enjoyed the 8 Bells after a long day of touring. Don’t miss this great place!!!

We loved this place. Came in from Chicago for a few weeks and spent 3 nights at this bar. The hosts could not be more friendly. The food, the drinks, the music and the atmosphere were amazing.
