The food is delicious. I have no complaints. The waitress was very attentive and friendly to my family this evening. I must warn you, the hot BBQ sauce is HOT, and we love spicy food. She tried to warn the kids lol. The macaroni, spaghetti, and greens were no good o couldn’t get enough. You really get the bang for your buck foo.

This is the first time I’ve been here, and the experience was pleasant. While I think the value is seriously lacking, the flavors are delicious! I don’t eat pork, and it’s hard to find a good place that sells beef bbq products. 79 Bbq’s rendition of the delicacy is superb, comparatively. Unfortunately, on the day I ordered, the beef ribs and beef links were out of stock. I opted for the beef tips and turkey link. I was steered toward the combo because it was “cheaper.” For about the same price as the items separately, you basically get a free link. The beef tips were fatty, but I prefer my beef fatty, so I didn’t mind. It was more than fork tender and seasoned nicely. The turkey links were good, too. Juicy with that snap when you bite it! The sauce was a nice mixture of vinegar and sweet. Think Sweet Baby Ray’s meets Open Pit. I opted for the mixed (hot and mild) sauce , so it was just the right amount of spicy for me. The picture is of the combo. It’s not entirely accurate because we ate a lot of it, but for $37, I definitely expected more. That said, I would definitely go back. The vibe was comforting and seemed like it would be enjoyable to sit in. The staff was pleasant, and the “chef” even came out to verify the order since what I wanted was out of stock. The music was nice but a little too loud for me, which is a bit of a deterrent because it wasn’t busy, so I can only imagine how loud it gets, but I would come back just to carry out if I couldn’t tolerate the noise. Overall, it was expensive, but I’m willing to spend the money for the rich and balanced flavors offered for a rare treat.

OMG, this is truly a gem! I’m so glad they opened up here and are extremely delighted with every aspect of my experience there. The hot links are second to none, I had to ask my server was there somebody uncle in the back cooking with open toe shoes on thanks to the tips, he assured me that the cook had on boots but informed me somebody grandma was chained to the stove making that delicious mac and cheese!!! You absolutely have to come and check this place out!!!

Good bbq, although a little chewy. Socrates, our sever, was phenomenal. They have comedy shows on Saturday’s. I’ll be back.

Would LOVE to have patronize your establishment. However, the phone number listed is out of order and you cant order on line. I tried even driving to the restaurant only for it to be closed. So, that was a 25 minute wasted drive.

The first time I went in I ordered the three piece catfish dinner. It came with fries, coleslaw and corn on the cob. What I was surprised with was the packaging. It was placed in an aluminum tray and packaged so well that I was highly impressed. My food was prepared by the male chef. It was delicious. I was so impressed that I told my neighbors. The next time I ordered a lady answered the phone and took my order of the same first order. Her customer service skills were poor and the same order that I ordered before was a disappointment. The fish was not crisp and packaging was a plastic bag. The real cook who was chef that cooked my order should train the staff in their cooking skills. I haven’t been back. If a standard is set customers will be faithful and tell others about the food served and the quality of customer service.

Came for a live show which was nice, ordered pork tip and link and turkey tips. The sauce is great! Nice portions for the price. Service needs work, had to go to bar for to go plates and to pay, she didn’t check on table. The pork hot link is flavorful but too spicy to fully enjoy. The turkey tips and Mac and cheese were great, would definitely have again.. nice welcoming atmosphere and clean restrooms are always a plus.

They dont have set hours or closed. I recently went to check it out, and the doors were locked during open set hours. Pissed I made the long drive, hungry, for nothing.

Was quiet when we stopped in around lunch time, but the food was excellent. My guy had the Brisket and I had the 2 PC catfish they both came with fries and bread. Our waiter’s name was Jason, he was pleased we were pleased!! We also ordered mac n cheese. We paid about $40 before the tip. Good time
