I ordered Javier’s Cheesesteak and it was an absolute 10/10 hands down one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had. I also tried Andrew’s Smash Burger, which was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.
The homemade ranch and chipotle ranch were incredibly good, and the owner was kind enough to let me try some fries on the house along with a few sauces. The Tiger Sauce was next level kind of like BBQ but way better and the cilantro sauce honestly goes with everything they serve.
What really sets this place apart is the hospitality. The owner genuinely cares, takes time to talk to customers, and makes you feel welcome. Between the amazing food and phenomenal customer service this is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again.
Highly recommended I will definitely be back!
Walked in and happy to see the Houston sports theme (we’re a sports family). Olajuwon jersey (my favorite NBA player of all time), Altuve jersey, etc. Several TVs with an NBA game, the Olympics, etc. Definitely my kind of place!
We checked out the menu for a bit and decided what we wanted and placed our order. Young man taking out order was helpful and friendly. We ordered a couple of the regular burgers and my wife had the Jalapeño Burger. We also ordered a side of the cheese curds. He also suggested we try the Banana Pudding which landed with my daughter who is a bit of a connoisseur of banana pudding.
We got our drinks and had a seat and started watching the NBA game and following the US Women’s Curling. About 10 min later (didn’t take long and we didn’t actually time it) our food started arriving. The cheese curds were really good and I enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with them. It had a bit of spice to it that was very nice (not super spicy, just a nice flavorful hint).
Then we got into the burgers and fries which were really very good. Great bun (see pics) and very juicy and flavorful burger. All the fixings were fresh and looked appetizing as well as tasted great. Burger was well seasoned and cooked to about a medium well (slightly over where I normally like mine but the family loved it – this is not a complaint, the burger was very good). My wife LOVED the Jalapeño burger and the cilantro sauce that came with it. The fries were excellent. Light, crunchy and properly salted. Definitely looked house made. Very solid meal.
Daughter is very particular about her banana pudding and gave this one a 6.5 -7. Wife rated it a bit higher. It’s also definitely house made. We had a good discussion with a gentleman who we assumed was the owner and he said he’s going to whip up another batch for my daughter to try again next weekend. We’ll definitely be back to try it. Owner was very friendly and came by to check in on us while we were eating. Also thanked us several times for stopping in.
There was a pretty good crowd coming in and out while we were there. We took our time and saw several folks taking orders to go and a few more sitting down to eat.
All in all a really good meal. I can definitely recommend them if you’re in the area and looking for a good burger.
We’ll be back next weekend for another run at that banana pudding!!
I highly recommend trying this place. They found themselves a regular customer.
The food, service, and atmosphere definitely lived up to the hype. All of the burgers are made with wagyu beef, and you can tell — juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
We went with the Mushroom & Swiss burger, and it was . Rich, savory, and super satisfying. For sides, we tried the pickle fries, regular fries, and cheese curds — all crispy, fresh, and great for sharing.
We also had a trio of sauces: chipotle, green cilantro, and ranch — every single one was a hit and took the fries to another level.
If you’re looking for a new burger spot in town, this one is 100% worth checking out. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu
The pickle fries were fried perfect! The cilantro sauce on the jalapeño smash burger was addicting. Javier’s cheesesteak was inhaled. And we’re bringing home Mom’s homemade banana pudding because we’re stuffed.
The best part of this visit was the friendly service. 713 Burger is owned by a family in the neighborhood and made us feel like family as soon as we walked in.
This place is 10/10 and we can’t wait to bring friends the next time we come
