A very unique style of Mexican fare. I am accustomed to the California, Arizona, Nevada vibe when it comes to Mexican food, so it was surprising to see bacon and sometimes sausage in the mix with fajitas. I still enjoyed the food, but it was definitely less savory in comparison with the Southwest style of cooking.
I also noticed that the chips were not that same, hearty and fresh “just out of the deep fryer” style of restaurant chips that is common in the Southwest. They were thin and flat tasting.
On the other hand, the staff was very sweet and the service was fast. No complaints there.
The bartender makes a wonderful cucumber and jalapeño margarita.
The atmosphere was nice. Very colorful both inside and out.
I’d like to go back and try some different dishes and maybe enjoy the karaoke night. They didn’t lose me completely. I’m just hoping they start making their own chips!

Went here over the weekend with some friends, it was my first time visiting this restaurant. The inside was decorated cute, the food was good, service wasn’t the best surprisingly because we were a large group. Our waiter was gone for long periods of time we ordered guac from the gentleman that fills water glasses and we ordered our food from someone else not sure if she was a manager or another waitress.
They had an ice cream machine for dessert so that was a nice treat.

Good was delicious, though their chips were overcooked. Fabulous view of the water on the back patio made it worth every dime. Plus, Happy hour! Always a plus. Would definitely recommend!

It was good, the experience at the restaurant, but we asked the waiter if he had happy hour and he told us yes, at the moment we asked for the bill to cancel, we realized that the drinks were at regular price, we asked the waiter again why they were not included in the happy hour rate and he answered that those type B drinks were not included. I think it is in very bad taste, because if you are in a happy hour apart they should explain what drinks are included in happy hour, the food is good, although the waiter who served us did not have the best attitude, we were better served by the food runner girl.

Two days in a row I have ordered their cheese enchiladas via Door Dadh like I do just about every day and whomever is in the kitchen baked them in the aluminum container and burns the gravy to the point there is no gravy at all. I’ve spent a lot of money here and this is so very dissappointing to me.

I used to enjoy the brunch buffet, but now I probably won’t be back.
But the past 2 times have been horrible!
It’s hour drive so normally we get there by 10 and the buffet ends at 12. The shrimp cocktail was empty., I asked the server and he said they would restock but it takes them awhile to make it and it wasn’t restocked. All the food on the buffet has been sitting out for while. Which doesn’t make sense because we pay full price for buffet and the food isn’t being restocked. So we just said maybe we came too late.
New buffet times until 1pm. We took our uncle who came in from out town and it was the same experience. Food had been sitting out for awhile. Servers were slow on drink refills. Vegetable soup was scraping the bottom of the pan and never got refilled , shrimp cocktail was out, 3 gravy enchiladas, no pozole’s food was slim pickings and what food was left the servers would start packaging to go containers, I don’t understand if the hours are from 8-1 you would think the buffet would be stocked, we pay full price for slim pickings and drove hour just to be disappointed again!

This place is always packed. Couldn’t eat in today but decided to get it to go. I was told to try the fajitas so I did. They are different here. Not like you get at most Tex Mex places. These fajitas were coated with a saucy seasoning and cooked in it. It wasn’t bad. It just had a different taste than I expected.
I really like the charro beans. They were flavored and seasoned. The salsa was good also.

♿ – friendly! The atmosphere is great. Service was on-point. It was a bit awkward in that most of the employees we encountered seemed emotionless. Not many smiles here at all. Don’t care so much about the smiles when everything else is great. Who knows? They may have gotten bad news before we arrived or a number of other reasons for the poker faces. I didn’t downgrade them for that because stuff happens! Great food, great service & great employees. Genuine motif throughout. Specialty margaritas are $13.99 each. However, the watermelon margarita is fantastic! Definitely worth checking out!!

The food was decent, not bad, not great. The vibe was typical Mexican restaurant, they did have live music which was s plus until someone else started singing along. The service wasn’t great. Our waitress was slow and inattentive. Overall it was average. I wouldn’t recommend them and probably wouldn’t revisit.

We came here twice during our 4 days stay in Lake Conroe area . The food was really good, the service was immediate and friendly. They make killer Margaritas! We enjoyed live music on Saturday. Decorations and furniture are bright and happy, bringing you into a real Mexican mood. There complimentary nachos and salsa for all customers. The parking is huge and lots of tables to accommodate large and small groups. Lovely place!
