What a great evening. I picked 69 Prime at the last minute for a Friday dinner. They had reservations available, that were easy to book through their site, not on Google.
There is plenty of parking in this quaint little neighborhood, so it was a short walk through a nicely decorated promenade.
Once inside the staff was warm and welcoming. I grabbed a espresso martini at the bar which was delicious and served very quickly. We got a cozy high top table that had very comfortable bench on one side.
The wine list is fairly decent and has price points for any budget.
The scallops were the starter, and man that was a show. They are served ablaze, on a bed of krest sprouts and salt. They were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. It’s an entree by itself, but also good for sharing.
From there we went for a medium rare, bone in ribeye with the lobster Mac & cheese, along with some roasted brussel sprouts. Give it a shot for yourself, you will be happy.
69 Prime is a real treat. Great atmosphere, attentive service and delicious food. Our server and the manager were very helpful with our food and wine selections, thank you very kindly for making our night memorable.

Ambience & Service:
69 Prime Steak has a lovely atmosphere — upscale yet comfortable. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which made the evening pleasant. The only downside was that the restrooms are located downstairs in the basement, which is inconvenient.

Appetizer:
The crab cakes were disappointing. The texture and taste suggested a mix of real and imitation crab, lacking that fresh flavor you expect at a fine dining restaurant. I didn’t end up eating mine.

Entrée:
We ordered the Wagyu New York Steak, and unfortunately it was extremely chewy, fatty, and hard to eat. For such a pricey cut, it was a letdown. The seasoning was good, but the texture ruined the experience. The manager mentioned they plan to remove it from the menu, which I think is a smart move.

Highlight:
The Wagyu Bolognese Pasta was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The presentation was beautiful, though the cheese ball on top was a little weird. Still, it was the best dish of the night.

Overall:
Great service and atmosphere, but the food was hit or miss. The pasta impressed me, but the steak and crab cakes fell short. I appreciate the staff’s honesty, but I’m unsure if I’d return.

Prime 69 is a beautiful restaurant with upscale décor and truly immaculate service overall. The atmosphere is elegant without feeling stuffy, and the bar program is excellent—great cocktails, especially The Vault, and a very impressive wine list.

The food was largely very good. The pasta dishes and vegetarian options were well executed, the lobster mac and cheese was amazing, and the Pollo di Limone was excellent. The steaks across the table were good; however, my Wagyu ribeye was disappointing. The cut itself was not ideal, with excessively tough sections and far too much fat, which is not what I would expect from a Wagyu offering at this price point.

One additional note: we originally reserved for 4, then updated to 6, and ultimately 10 guests about an hour before our reservation. The restaurant was accommodating, which we appreciated. However, when we arrived, the host’s first comment to the entire group was that they normally require a deposit for parties of 8 but would “accommodate us anyway.” Given that we spent close to $100 per person, this comment felt unnecessary, slightly embarrassing, and out of place in an otherwise high-end dining experience.

Overall, Prime 69 has a lot going for it—beautiful space, great drinks, strong menu options—but there’s room for improvement in consistency of premium cuts and front-of-house communication.

Prime 69 is hands down one of our favorite restaurants, and a place we return to often. The food is consistently outstanding—true steakhouse quality with perfectly cooked steaks and flavors that never disappoint.

The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: sophisticated and elegant without feeling stiff or overly formal, making it ideal for both special occasions and relaxed nights out.

What truly sets Prime 69 apart is the staff. The service is always warm, attentive, and professional. Special appreciation goes to the manager, Rich, who does an incredible job ensuring every visit feels welcoming and well taken care of. Sara and the rest of the waitstaff are fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive.

Great food, great people, and a great experience every time. Highly recommended.

I recently had an outstanding dining experience at 69 Prime. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a memorable evening.

What truly set this visit apart was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Erica. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly, ensuring that our every need was met with a smile. Erica’s recommendations were spot-on, and her professionalism added a special touch to our meal.

I highly recommend 69 Prime to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience, and be sure to ask for Erica—you won’t be disappointed!

The experience @ 69 prime was wonderful experience with my family celebrating an early valentine’s day. Will return. Only complaint was a strong sewer smell when entering the building.

My recent visit here, with my boyfriend, his uncle, and his wife, was an absolutely delightful experience!

From the moment we were seated, the service was exceptional. Our server was incredibly thorough and demonstrated impressive knowledge of the entire menu, which made our ordering experience seamless and enjoyable.

The food was truly delicious, exceeding our expectations with every dish. While the signature vodka drink was pleasant, it didn’t quite reach the same exceptional heights as the rest of the meal. However, the desserts were an absolute highlight – truly the best way to end a fantastic evening!

We left feeling completely satisfied and impressed by the overall quality of both the cuisine and the attentive service. Highly recommend!

We had a really great time here. Amazing food and phenomenal desserts. Erica was very helpful, and knew the menu very well and all of her suggestions were spot on. I am more of an appetizer person, and don’t go for desserts but we especially loved the Italian Buttercream dessert.
It is to die for. All of our food came out perfectly, service was great, nice dim lighting, very pleased!

Visiting for the first time on New Year’s Eve I expected a packed house so grace would need to be given. Reservation was made well in advance for 8:30p and we were not seated til about 9p. We were starving! We sat at an empty table til one of the bus boys provided water about 10-15min in and the same young man dropped off bread bout 10min after. Then, we waited. Many servers walked by and nothing. About 10min later I saw someone who seemed to be running the floor and asked him can we please get silverware napkins plates a menu and order appetizers and drinks. He took care of the request right away and had extensive knowledge of the scotch offerings. Maybe, 15min later our server introduces herself and takes our dinner order, very good with recommendations, knew the menu, her name is Erica. The restaurant is busy, they ran out of silverware, completely over booked themselves for the money and quality suffered greatly. Our table was never cleared we had so many dishes on the table, we had to wait maybe 15min or so after our meal came for the steak sauce we requested when we placed the order. Water was never refilled, second drink orders were never asked, heck we even had to wait for to go boxes, wait for dessert, wait to checkout. We will give this place another try for sure and hope that the quality of service will match the quality of the food and my hope is the attentiveness of the server will also improve with a lighter crowd.

Excited to try this place after reading quite a bit of testimonials. Great atmosphere and very good customer service, no complaints there. The food lacked seasoning and the lack of seasoning was consistent on each different dish. The Rib Eye steak tasted totally unsalted as well as the asparagus. Now I’ve eaten a lot of Branzino in my day and this was some of the most tasteless I’ve eaten. The drinks were good and the butter cake was outstanding. This place gets 3 stars. Come with deep pockets, the 2 of cost over $200 for dinner. Give this place a try and draw your own conclusions.
