6 Skewers at the Commas Food Hall is a hidden gem! I ordered the Joojeh Kabob (Chicken Kabob) platter and it exceeded my expectations. The chicken was marinated beautifully—it was savory, tender, and burst with traditional Persian flavor.
The platter comes with perfectly cooked, fluffy rice and a delicious grilled tomato. Everything was served hot and the portion size was very satisfying. The staff were quick and polite despite the food hall environment. If you are looking for authentic, high-quality Persian food, this is a must-try. I highly recommend the chicken!

I was hesitant about the location, but the reviews didnt lead me wrong! Really enjoyed my meal, I wanted something for dinner to take back to my hotel that wasn’t greasy fast food and this place really hit the spot.
I got the beef and chicken platter, it was so nicely presented even after bringing it back to my hotel. Plenty rice and meat, the tomatos were nicely charred, and some fresh limes were given along with some sumac seasoning.
If I’m ever in the area again I’d definitely come back!

Truly good Persian food is hard to find. But this restaurant gets everything right. The chicken and Koobideh Kabobs are juicy, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked, served with saffron rice, grilled tomatoes, and fresh lime on the side. A delicious and authentic Mediterranean dining experience!

Wow, best Persian food ever had in the US so far! The Koubideh was fantastic here, truly authentic. Bandari was next level, arguably better than what we have back home! Hats off!

I really enjoyed this place. The staff were friendly and had a great attitude, which made the experience even better. Both the chicken and Koobideh kebobs were full of flavor, tender and juicy. The portions were generous, and there were plenty of tasty sides. I especially liked the yogurt and cucumber mix, super refreshing. And the Shole Zard for dessert? Incredible. Sweet, fragrant and just the perfect way to end the meal.

I had Kabob Koobideh and Shole-Zard, and took a bite of my friend’s Maghz-o-Zaban sandwich, which was brutally delicious!

A small unpretentious Iranian food destination. They have a great deal. It is an order of kebabs with pita and cucumber sauce with limes or lemons, for $14. I got Koobideh, a beef Kebab, and wonderful olives. The olives were an appetizer. They have chicken. I got an eggplant puree with pita and it was smokey flavor: the eggplant.
They have these decorative plates of Iranian stuff. Also, tiles mostly from Iran or Persia. I really liked it. The restaurant looks really spotless. I had the chicken kebab as well, it was delicious. It is called like Joojeh chicken, and it has a yellow color from saffron.
I suggest you try this and other stuff. I want to try the falafel sandwhich with mango sauce.

I’ve tried Koobideh from so many places across DC, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, and this one tops them all. The meat was juicy and full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and grilled just right.
