My wife and I gave 5th Street Pizza a 2nd chance. We ordered a medium Pepperoni Deluxe pizza and 2 side salads. The salads were really refreshing and delicious. Then the pizza came and I was not disappointed. It was much better than the XL we had.
The music here is really good, the decor is fun, and the atmosphere reminds me of a 90s pizza place. Which I love.
Im very happy I gave this place another try. Jeff has built a wonderful place and people love it. I can see now how it has received so many great reviews. I’ll definitely be back again.
A 4 star review is perfect for this place. What it does it does well.

*Update to my review from last night.*
The owner “Jeff” figured out who I was based on the photo and called me today. Super nice guy. We spoke at length about the pizza, last night’s service, everything. I learned that St. Louis style pizza, like NY style pizza is a thin slice style of pizza. This is based on the ounce of dough being used to make the pizza and how far the dough is stretched. Jeff also explained that a thin pizza helps make sure the dough is cooked fully through. He also explained how places like domino’s and pizza hut use much more dough in making their pizza. All and all. It was a pleasant conversation with a true professional. I’ll definitely give them another shot and next time ill try the medium as that will likely be more to my liking. Thanks for reaching out Jeff.

First time getting a pizza here and to say I am not impressed, would be an understatement. Tonight I ordered a $22 extra large, hand tossed, Pepperoni Deluxe pizza. I looked online and saw thick, delicious looking pizza and what I got was this SUPER thin, paper thin pizza. When I asked them if I had gotten what order, they said yes. When I showed the the picture online that made me want to eat here, they said “thats a medium meat lovers.” Then I asked, “so you’re telling me that the medium pizzas are thicker than the extra large in terms of dough?” To my suprise, they said “yes”. What a crock! So I would have gotten a thicker, more appealing pizza, for less money?! If you take the risk of buying a pizza here, make sure you are set to get EXACTLY what you want. I for one will never come back.
My boyfriend purchased three large pizzas for a child’s birthday party. One cheese, one hamburger, and one with everything on it, as well as a liter soda. It totaled a little over 60 dollars. Completely outrageous pricing for such thin pizza. The flavors were just okay. They reminded me of a pre frozen pizza or something cheaper than what they offer for the price. Honestly we should have just gone with Papa John’s at that point. If the prices were decent, I would have brought it up a star. The crust was so thin, the pizza ripped in weird pieces by themselves.
We love that you can still sit down and eat pizza – it’s really hard to find. Their pizza is good (thick and thin crust). We love that you can bring your own Wine (although they don’t have any wine glasses, we bring out own.)
give them a try!
I will try to add more pictures of pizzas. For now, I have a pepperoni roll to show you 😉
