We ordered two veg and one non-veg lunch specials to go from 5th Element Taste of India, and it was a great experience overall. The portion sizes were huge, especially for a lunch special.

Each meal came with two curries, dal, naan, rice, a samosa, and gulab jamun. The food was packed well, stayed hot, and everything traveled nicely. Both the veg and non-veg curries were flavorful and well-spiced, and the naan was soft and fresh.

Everything felt generous and satisfying, and the pricing was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Definitely a great value for Indian takeout in the Baymeadows/Jacksonville area—we’d happily order again.

I went here prior to them moving and the quality stayed amazing as it was before! The food is a burst of flavor you won’t find anywhere else, genuine feel-good comfort food. I definitely crave this on cooler days or just days I want to eat something hardy. Our waitress was very nice and answered a lot of our questions, the atmosphere is excellent and your meal comes with complimentary mango ice cream! (I didn’t try it yet but I will next time!) If authentic Indian food is what you crave then look no further! My favorite item is always going to be the Veggie Samosas, takes just like it has meat because it’s seasoned so so well. Also sorry about the photos, we started digging in and it was all so amazing

5th Element is always a go-to for good Indian food. Tonight I had the goat masala, rice, and butter nan. So good!

I ordered mutton biryani through DoorDash and was shocked at the quality. The dish arrived completely uncooked, with a strong raw odor that made it impossible to eat. This is not just poor quality—it’s a serious food safety issue. I followed proper steps to reheat, but the biryani remained inedible. For a trusted restaurant, this is unacceptable. I will not be ordering mutton biryani from here again and urge others to be cautious.

Kofta in Malai kofta had burnt taste and looked black. The curey of malai kofta had a thick layer as if it was old and sitting out for long time. Samosa chat was with one samosa, but I hardly found 2 small piece of samosa in the chat. The samosa chat was full of chole. Paneer pakora was decent. Veg hakka noodles was supposed to have indo-chinese taste but lacked Chinese part in the taste.

The food was amazing! I had the The GOAT Rogan Josh, right amount of spice and was flavorful. We loved the bread basket and its different variety of Naan.
Definitely coming back to this hidden Gem

This is probably my third time here and I absolutely love the food every time. I’m more of a quiet place type of girly and I love how there is little to no noise. Everyone is always very nice!

This restaurant has moved from a previous location into a little different space within the same shopping plaza. I have always been a big fan of the lunch buffet with this restaurant and this visit back to them since the new move did not disappoint.

We had a great meal. Everything was delicious and the new place is very crisp and clean. We were at the lunch buffet, so our used dishes were taken away very quickly and our water glasses were always full, and our server was very nice. Love this place an to be back soon.

Hands down, this is the most upscale Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere, presentation, and quality set the tone for something special.

The buffet was next level—delectable, fresh, and thoughtfully curated. There was a plethora of vegetarian options (a huge win for me), and I loved how they had a live station churning out hot, fresh naan and other savory delights right on the spot. You could taste the freshness in every bite.

What made this place shine for me was not just the variety, but the flavor and balance in every dish. I honestly can’t name a favorite—it was that good. Even the mint chutney, which I normally have to ask extra for, was self-serve and abundant. They truly thought of everything.

The fresh fruit section and dessert bar were the perfect finish—offering unique Indian sweets I had never tried before. Every bite felt like a new discovery.

If I had to mention one small takeaway (not a con, just a curiosity): I didn’t see mango pickle, which I usually love. But in its place was a red, peppery, vinegary side that ended up being just as delightful.

In all honesty, this place is the 5th Element. A must-visit, whether you’re coming for the buffet or a sit-down dinner. Highly recommend.
