Went to saloon and Sam the bouncer that was skinny with locs checking people acted crazy and screamed at my friend which was very unnecessary. I get your working and it may be stressful but we are only women trying to have a fun night. To say the least he was very disrespectful and said more than needed to be said for a minor incident.

It’s pretty much like a bunch of frat dudes rented a room, stocked it with beer, and used two nasty air dryers they brought from home to sell frozen tater tots. That’s actually what it was. No beer on tap, no darts, no pool, no dancing. And the roof was leaking everywhere.

So their hours say they close at 2 am, 12:45 and they decided to close. We were going to get quarters for the pool table and the guy said “I wouldn’t get those cause we’re about to close” when we inquired about why he said “if you don’t mind I’d like to go home. We asked why he was playing pool if he worked there and his response was he had nothing better to do. So we asked the bartender what time they close. And he literally looked at his watch and said 12:55… you close at 12:55? It was now 12:50. But continued handing drinks to other people. I’m sorry I thought you were closed? What a joke this place is, run by a bunch of losers.

The staff did not stamp my friends hand and then proceeded to get upset when he did not have a stamp on his hand when he was trying to get back in. The bouncer was inexperienced and clearly drunk, and immediately expressed to us (a 22 year old and a 23 year old) that he didn’t have to let us in because he could… all because he passed back an ID to his 20 year old friend when he was 21. Management didn’t handle it well and it honestly was a terrible representation of the bar to say the least. I really hope that the employee gets fired because it’s truly embarrassing that people like that work as a bouncer.

Not exactly easy to find, I didn’t know where it was located and it didn’t stand out while trying to follow GPS. I had to park around the corner and behind the building, walk through an alley, which for a woman was not the most safe feeling option. The bar had a lot of sit down space, several pool tables, bathrooms were clean enough. They had a $1 drink special going on which was cool. Like maybe 6 ounce drinks. So decent enough.
