Our experience at the Compass Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The poolside 5 o’clock somewhere bar and grill serves as a central hub, offering a seamless blend of island-inspired charm and modern convenience. The atmosphere is effortlessly ‘chill,’ yet the service remains attentive and welcoming. I didn’t get some photos of the different kinds of drinks because we were too busy having fun and drinking them lol
The culinary team truly shines with its commitment to regionally sourced ingredients. The Swordfish was AMAZING—perfectly seared and blackened, fresh, and tender. I was also impressed by the house-made guacamole, which provided a flavorful start to a beautifully prepared meal. Even the steak was cooked to perfection, reflecting the kitchen’s dedication to quality. (Thanks chef )
The cocktail menu is as refreshing as the pool itself. Our margaritas were perfectly tart and i wanted to keep trying more! The frozen margaritas had fresh fruit which was a nice touch. The clever walk-up bar window allows for an quick drink at the pool, which perfectly encapsulates the resort’s focus on elevated comfort.

I ordered something off the menu and I’m very picky so I didn’t like it and they took it off my bill and replaced it! Everybody was super nice! I hope it stays like that. Didn’t care for the parking made us park on the street. So I don’t know how that will work in the summer when it’s really busy!!!!
