Went on a Friday in Lent at 6:30. 30 minute wait..to be expected. Easy to get cocktails and had a place to sit while waiting. The fish fry was very good, perch, cod and shrimp were great, not oily. Loved the history of this place as explained by our server. She’s been there 29 years…and is a distant 3rd in seniority. They obviously value their employees, who all seemed happy, as much as their customers. Will definitely return.

Arrived at 7 on a Friday during Lent — no surprise, it was packed. We were quoted an hour wait for a table of four, which felt about right judging by the crowd. Luckily found a spot at a bar table and didn’t have to wait long for drinks. The place is big, with what felt like hundreds of people packed in, but the sunset over Pewaukee Lake gave it a nice backdrop. Classic Wisconsin supper club vibe — warm wood, low lighting, and lots of chatter.

I really wanted to love the food. I went with the perch, but fries were the only side — no potato pancakes, which was disappointing. The fish was just okay, slightly overcooked. Fries tasted like they’d been sitting in old oil. Best part of the plate was the ranch and coleslaw. Overall, it felt a bit like a production line pushing tables through fast.

Top Tom Tip: If you go on a Friday during Lent, plan ahead — bar seats are your best shot at avoiding a long wait, and the atmosphere is better there anyway.

We had won some gift cards for the 5 O’clock club. Glad I got $100 worth, will be coming back multiple times!! We went for lunch and the service was excellent!! The food was delicious, my husband ordered the Prospect Avenue sandwich
Grilled chicken breast, bacon, Swiss, mozzarella, and cheddar, on grilled Italian bread. I had the The Mainstreet Burger
On toasted marble rye, with melted cheddar and grilled onions, both came with fries.
We had enough leftover for dinner as well. AND of course we had to try the HOMEMADE ice cream, in 3 flavors almond/amaretto, pistachio, and vanilla/lavender, all were a small scoop with whipped cream, just enough for 2 to share!

Food was delicious! Love the breading on the fried shrimp and scallops! Plenty of food, good portions!! Friendly staff, not a long wait for a table. Fast service! Highly recommend! Has outdoor patio for summer with some view of the lake. Plenty of parking. Nice supper club!

What a special place. I wouldn’t have known if my coworker didn’t tell me about this place. Food is home cooked, and the place has been around for a long time. Right near Pewaukee lake. It feels like going to Grandma’s house. I especially love the banana cheesecake dessert, the oysters on the half shower amazing and there was such a great variety of food that I’ll go back over and over again.

Very nice atmosphere. They not only have a fish fry on Friday, but it is available for lunch on Wednesday.
The fish was lightly battered and not greasy. The coleslaw and crinkle cut fries were also very good.

Had their fishfry. It was very delicious! I had the perch and cod combo, both were fried to perfection. I would definitely go back to try other menu items.

This was our first visit, on a Thursday night. The menu is very different depending on the day of the week so be aware of this and check their online menu when you make your reservation. It also appears they offer a fish fry on more days than just Friday. The location is very secluded, nestled in beautiful trees and a minor view of Pewaukee Lake, and has both inside and outside tables. Unfortunately, we asked for an outside table on this warm night but were told they didn’t have the staff to make it happen. On our way out there were people dining outside so that was disappointing. Our server Michelle and busser Tea did a great job and even tho they were both super busy we were well taken care of.
Being a Thursday night we had some interesting options including the specials. We decided to try the Ribeye with veggies and a baked potato and it was delicious and a good size serving. We also ordered the full rack of Ribs and that was different. They were well cooked but the sauce was more tomato paste than BBQ sauce taste. While it wasn’t bad it was not as visually pleasing and did not taste as expected. This is a personal preference so if you like a hardy BBQ sauce please ask for a taste test before ordering to make sure it will meet your expectations. (The special Beef Ribs roasted had a different and non-BBQ sauce, so be sure to test that one also. It didn’t interest me so I avoided it.) The french fries served were all over the place in being cooked, but that’s because they were all different sizes from tiny and crispy to large and limp.
There is a large drink menu to choose from and the servings are nice. However, we were too full to have one of the tasty-looking desserts.
All in all our bill for two women was just over $103 before tips. Not bad for the amount of food served but each dish was a bit of a surprise. We will probably try again because the service was excellent and there are more items we would like to try. But it was not a night to remember, just one to eat out and take home leftovers.
The decor is typical supper club style but somehow the room is not too dark. And even tho they have just celebrated their 95th Anniversary, the atmosphere is not old, but more traditional. Lots of windows is nice.
One thing to know is that the staff has been here forever; our server for over 25 years, and a long-standing staff speaks well of the owners/management. Many generations have held this Club and you can tell they care.
Give it a try and judge for yourself. I think it is worth it.

Such a fun experience! We came in on a Friday night around 6:30 with our two kids. Had to wait about 20 minutes, but it was easy to grab a drink at the bar while we waited. Food was fast and delicious, service was friendly. We would definitely come again!

Overall disappointed by this place. The fried chicken was solid. No seasoning on the breading though made it a bit lackluster. The ribs were good, but the sauce may not be for everyone.
