I absolutely love Carnitas so I thought I’d try this place out. I got off work and I got here at 6:10. Between 5:00 and 7:00 should be very fresh food. I ordered the tacos carnitas with rice and beans on the side. I literally almost chipped my tooth trying to bite through a piece of carnita! I am absolutely upset! The first time I had Carnitas was in Jacksonville Florida and they were like falling off the bone and I loved it. This time i tried them here and the Carnitas were very very very very dry! Very disappointed and the star rating reflects that!

We loved this place. The fajitas, albondigas soup, and house margaritas are all great. The only miss is the flan. It has holes in it. I’m not sure why, but it doesn’t seem to be made properly. Otherwise, everything we’ve ordered has been excellent. The service is very good and the atmosphere is very comfortable.

New to the Kent area. Hubby and I ordered enchiladas and tacos to-go. Order came with free chips and salsa. Salsa was spicy and delicious. Enchiladas were a bit overly sweet otherwise everything was really great. None of the meat was over cooked.

How is this even called tortilla soup?! It’s a few pieces of chicken at the bottom and cut up avocado with 4 cups of broth. Coming from Texas this is Super disappointing. 🙁 Sadly I order to go…. will definitely not be coming back. The soup did come hot and the broth had good flavor and the chips and salsa were ok. If you are sick this would be a good soup BUT leave out the cheese!

Went on a Sunday; almost completely empty. I sat in the bar which was brightly lit. I love a cozy bar and this lighting felt jarring. I ordered the 2 Enchiladas plate which came with rice, beans and coleslaw(?!?). The Enchiladas were bland and the sauce, I swear, was a chicken gravy. The beans were not seasoned but at least the rice was salted. Silver lining was that it was cold out, I had a warm meal and received it quickly.
