For centuries, the traditional neighborhood called “5 Esquinas” (“5 Corners” in English) in Lima, Peru, has been renowned as a vibrant neighborhood. Many influential figures in history attribute their success across various fields to their roots in 5 Esquinas, including Henry Vera, the visionary owner and driving force behind the restaurant named the same.
With 5 Esquinas Peruvian Restaurant, Henry Vera brings the allure of his hometown to the global stage, starting with Miami Beach, as a tribute to 5 Esquinas. A consummate master of his craft, he skillfully blends the Latin zest of his upbringing with his passion for the culinary delights of 5 Esquinas. Through the restaurant’s exquisite Peruvian dishes and tantalizing drinks.

This a little gem in South Beach. The food was amazing, the service provide by Jocelyn was outstanding and the ambiance really nice. We the delicious lightly breaded Jalea and it was fresh and savory. We also ordered Bistec a lo pobre and the skirt steak was cooked to perfection, the Tacu Tacu was nicely cooked and even the chimichurri sauce was delish. This place is highly recommended and the thumbs up comes from a peruvian, so trust me when I say this place rocks!

Don’t be fooled by the modest exterior, this place slaps! It not only shines for its quality of food but the service and vibes are on point. The ceviche was fresh, the beef stew was packed with flavor and portion sizes did not disappoint!!! Our server Teo was so warm and super informative… and it’s clear that each dish is made with so much love. Highly recommend!!

This shrimp soup was the best I’ve had. So much damn flavor that it was hard for me to stop eating, no matter how full I was.
I’m not a big fried person, only when I’m feening for it but this fried seafood appetizer was pretty good. I particularly liked the little fried fish. Moist inside.
Staff was extra observant and attentive, making sure we were good throughout our entire meal. The only bone to pick was that the music was a bit too loud. I loved the music but they can turn it down a tad to make sure we can get good conversations in with our foodie companions.
Between the good food and great staff, I’d definitely return.

Our first time here and definitely not last! Eric has been the best server we’ve had in Miami hands down. He went through the menu thoroughly and provided excellent suggestions based on what we each liked. We ordered the classic ceviche and pescado a lo macho. Both were delicious and will be on repeat when we come back.

Authentic Peruvian food. They have a wide variety and all plates were perfect. I had the arroz con mariscos and it’s one of the best I had in Miami so far.

Absolutely loved our experience at 5 Esquinas! The Peruvian food was delicious—we had the Combinado 5 Esquinas and they were more than happy to accommodate a rice swap, which we really appreciated. The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night—beautiful, clean, and full of charm with a fun yet cozy vibe. Highly recommend and would go back!

We went on a friend’s recommendation; we were a large group; they gave us a table because we didn’t make a reservation.
At first, it took a while to bring our food, but as soon as you sit down, they give you a shot called “tiger’s milk.” It had a delicious flavor. They also had crispy golden plantains and roasted corn.
They recommended drinks, and the service was very good; they were attentive at all times.
I ordered a medium-spiced ceviche: the portions are very large, so you can share it with another person.
I really liked the drink I tried, called CHICHA MORADA. I really liked its sweet flavor.
