Although the food took approximately 15 minutes to prepare — slightly longer than expected — it was a reasonable wait given the quality and freshness. The meal did not disappoint. The waffle was prepared perfectly, and the fried chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to an ideal consistency.
Overall, a very satisfying experience and well worth the visit.
From the moment I walked in until the moment I left the owner treated me truly like family. He sat there and conversed with me for 15-20 minutes. We chatted the entire time my chicken was freshly cooked.
I ordered a three-piece and waffle with mac and cheese.
Sometimes when you order deep fried chicken it tastes oily. This did not. It was cooked perfectly hotter than a volcano and delicious.
The waffle was amazing as always with a little dusting of powdered sugar… It’s more like dessert than anything else.
I absolutely loved the mac and cheese. It had a great taste and not like your typical mac and cheese.
Everything was fantastic. It was so clean. Nothing felt greasy. And just all around amazing.
The food takes a while to prepare; I want to say I waited 15 minutes last time so advice would be to order ahead of time. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and try more off the menu.

Review:
5 Brothers Fried Chicken & Waffles is known for its flavorful fried chicken and generous portions. The restaurant is a dine in establishment, offering a variety of comfort foods with a focus on fried chicken and waffles. The waffles are fluffy, delicious, and paired nicely with the seasoned fried chicken. I personally love their wings, banana pudding, and their refreshing lemonade.

Also is this an Eggoji waffle???? They also gave me a lot of syrup which I put on my plate. Idk why it was paper though. The chicken was fine but a little too much. Maybe half the size and I would have been able to finish it all. I also got to meet all 5 brothers! They were was nicer then the 5 guys over at 5 guys.
I attached a photo of the lovely meal they made me.
Overall 9.27/10
I tried ordering:
• 3 chicken sandwiches (+3 sides you can’t remove)
• 8-pc mixed chicken (+side & waffle)
• 5 wings (+waffle)
Total came out to $91!
For what?! I just don’t understand the pricing anymore. This used to be affordable, but now I’m paying premium, sit-down prices at what’s essentially a fast-food place—especially when tons of other restaurants offer similar items.
I ended up going to Tex’s Chicken & Burgers instead. For under $50, I got:
• 10-pc chicken
• 3 sides
• 4 biscuits
• double cheeseburger
• loaded fries
• 4 full wings
And even if I added four chicken sandwiches on top of all that, the total STILL wouldn’t have reached $91.
They really need to make their pricing clearer. This whole “every item automatically comes with sides” model is going to hurt them in this economy. Most people would prefer to pay $2–$3 less and skip the random sides. But the way it’s presented, you’re asked which sides you want—without any explanation that choosing no sides makes the meal cheaper.
For example, I was told the 5-pc chicken is $18. Already on the high side, but fine.
But at checkout it became $22 because a side was auto-added. I didn’t even want the side. And honestly, $18 for 5 pieces—where two of those pieces are usually a wing and a leg—means I’m paying roughly $3.60 per piece. After tax, almost $4 for a leg?! Come on…
It’s frustrating because with $91, I could walk into almost any Mediterranean spot and get a lamb chops platter, a kebab platter, AND a steak or lamb shank platter—all for less than what I was about to spend here on fried chicken. Even well-known Italian places wouldn’t charge that much for a large pizza and a couple of entrées.
Bottom line: be careful. They pad the bill with sides you might not even want. Ask them to remove those to avoid hidden charges. Maybe then it becomes more reasonable. But with so many competing spots offering similar food, prices like these are going to push customers away.
