We are a 21 & over establishment (except Tuesday’s for Family Night and Sunday Brunch twice monthly) Independent, family owned since 1981, 4th Street Bar and Grill has been the favorite restaurant and gathering place for local and visitors alike. Located in beautiful downtown Columbus Indiana, we are open for lunch and dinner and pride ourselves on providing high quality food, beverage and service in a fun casual atmosphere. Offering burgers, sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, entrees, appetizers, and homemade deserts. With live entertainment Wednesday through Saturday evenings, 4th Street is your place for food, drinks and fun!

This is a spot you have to check out. The Classic Reuben sandwich was one of the best I have ever tasted. The corned beef was so tender, it would almost melt in your mouth. The fries were also very good, crunchy with soft potato center. Our server was very attentive and kept our drinks filled. The atmosphere was decent only downside was it was a bit noisy. We will definitely be returning to try out other items in the menu.

4th St. is one of my top pick restaurants for any occasion – fun with friends (especially on a trivia night), with my family (my fave is for Sunday brunch days), a nice lunch, or date night. Their food is always delicious, their environment is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I enjoy tasting their different mixed drinks and rotating specials.

I’ve eaten here twice now, and both times the service has been exceptional. The servers are extremely friendly and excel at their job.
The first time my wife and I ate inside, the atmosphere was entertaining, with great music and a pub-style feel. Very cozy and welcoming. The second time, my wife and I ate out on the patio. It was a completely different experience that was pleasant. It was quieter and, in my opinion, a better atmosphere for a one-on-one date night. It’s a very unique feature of this restaurant, and one that my wife and I really enjoyed.
The first time we ate here, we got the following.
Mac’ n Cheese Bites – These were a hit and fresh. Very decent for what I assume were boxed and frozen.
Havarti Horseradish Burger- This was one of the best burgers I’ve had. It was incredibly juicy and bursting with flavor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Cheesy Chicken Mac Skillet- This dish came out sizzling hot and smelled great. My wife enjoyed it, but after trying my burger, she wished she had followed my lead.
The second time, we had the following.
4th Street Trio- Boneless Buffalo Wings, Chips and Queso, and the Mac and Cheese Bites again. The Boneless Buffalo wings were delicious, and their Buffalo sauce was the perfect temperature.
Korean BBQ Mahi Mahi- I should have stuck to bar food when at a bar. The fish was tough and overcooked. The Asian Slaw that came with it was bland, but the texture was good.
Buffalo Chicken Wrap-The chicken was a little dry, and the tortilla stale, but the flavor was there.
We will definitely keep coming back to this establishment and continue to try new items.

Friendly service and a variety of menu options, ranging from classic bar fare to more refined dishes. Our group ordered so many different items, it’s hard to name them all. Awesome food! Especially enjoyed the pretzels and Cobb salad. Service was slow because it was a busy trivia Wednesday night, but it was still friendly service.

The atmosphere wasn’t bad, happened to be Trivia night. I was not to excited with the Buffalo Chicken wrap. The sauce was great but about half was through I was eating just sauce and lettuce. The fries were not the best either.
My coworkers had the same sentiments about the fries but said the fish sandwich and the BBQ flatbread were good.

Great place to eat! Nachos were fantastic! Bourbon burger was great! Got the salmon and it was perfect. Rice that comes with it isn’t great so would recommend substituteing it for something else.
