Great place to eat delicious food for the best prices in town. And for all-you-can-eat, I don’t know of any other restaurants who can compete.
This was my first time but will not be the last. I highly recommend 478 Country Buffet for anyone who likes home cooked style meals.

Somewhat small establishment, very busy on Sundays. The food is okay, half of it I enjoyed and the other half was a no. I really enjoyed the fried chicken, collard greens, cornbread and beans. I tried the mac and cheese and dressing and it was a no! The mashed potatoes and green beans were okay. My server was awesome! The sweet tea was the best!

I haven’t had such FANTASTIC BLACK EYED PEAS since my mother made them when I was a kid. They were so delicious, I had 3 bowls. Other than those, the food varied. The chicken, corn bread and meatloaf were good. The corn and green beans were okay. The cobbler was all gone before we arrived and was never replenished. I scraped a little from the pan and it tasted good. I would return here if I was going through Byron, Ga. again.

Small all-you-can-eat buffet with the best fried chicken ever!! I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and I absolutely loved it!! The food was hot and seasoned. The buffet was kept clean and well stocked. A salad bar and small dessert bar, which consisted of fruits, brownies, and little cups of ice cream, is also included. Nothing fancy, just a quiet, little spot with some good ole country eating going on!!

I’ve been here probably 10 times in the last 3 years. I don’t get to eat out much but I do go when I’m visiting family because I’m from the Warner. Robins area. This is one of my favorite 3 restaurants there in Byron. And one of Robbins, the people are usually very nice, most of the time. The food is great this last time. I don’t know what happened with the peach. Cobbler is not the same, but everything else was awesome.
Especially the livers, I love the livers

The food was pretty good, especially the fried chicken, although I’m still not sure what part of the chicken I got the first time. I think it was a thigh, but not sure. I know the second piece was from the breast, but that’s an educated guess. Nothing is labeled, or if it is, it’s not very evident. Unfortunately, almost everything breaded and fried is a guessing game. Since it was next to grits, I thought I was getting fried catfish (or some sort of fish), only to find, when eating it, it may have been country fried beef (or maybe pork). It was good, but not what I was expecting. The veggies, both fried (okra) and stewed (cabbage) were very good, and I could actually identify them. All in all, it was a good, flavorful lunch, and the price was great! I’m coming back, but I’ll ask a lot of questions next time.

This was a great choice! It’s Buffet style. The food was hot and seasoned well. There was a nice variety of food. They had catfish, chicken, ribs, cabbages, fried okra, and more. Me, my mom, and the kids loved it! They even had ice cream. The staff was so friendly. 10 out of 10 for sure.

It is as it’s named. It’s a nice small mom and pop country buffet. It’s a smaller buffet but the food has great flavor! Good variety of southern cooking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere good music and open seating. Patriotic flags on the walls. If your from the south you’ll feel at home.

My first time visiting. Warmly greeted. Senior and military discounts. The buffet had a nice fresh fruit and salad bar. Tasty meats and vegetables. Cake and peach cobbler. The cobbler was too doughy for me. The mashed potatoes and beef stew were delicious.

Food is great. It’s the sister company of fried green tomatoes, No name chicken, and No name beef. My favorite is the meatloaf. And its cheap only ten dollars for all you can eat.
