The 402 Sports Bar and Grill in Beatrice, Nebraska is great place to have a sitdown meal that is more than just a sports bar food. Not only was the hamburger and fries great but the fact that I was able to order a gluten-free bun, put them in the six star category. I’m highly recommend that a few are hungry then I would highly suggest making your way over and have a great meal yourself or with your family. And I was told that they have gluten-free pizza as well. I did not try the pizza but the next time I come through town, I’m definitely going to have the one important food group that I miss since becoming gluten-free.

The burgers my husband and I ordered have been the best we have eaten in a long time. You want the best burger around come here. Also worth commenting on, when we came in for lunch, there were only 10 minutes left for the grill.. You would have never known it, the same care and quality went into an outstanding lunch.

Once entering I was pleasantly greeted and seated. Bartender was outstanding and delivered a great experience. Food I recommend is the wings and salads. Phenomenal flavors and the staff really ties it all together. Ever driving through Beatrice or locally want a great night, don’t think about it. It’s totally worth it

Great place with plenty of space. Lots of TVs. Food was great. Pepperoni pizza came out undercooked but they corrected it. The hamburger streak was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly with mushrooms and onions. Menu was extensive with lots of variety. I will definitely be back again.

It has been 4 years since I ate here. I’ve been dying to come back. So glad to see they were still open as I ate here just after they opened and right before Covid hit. The food is amazinnng. The atmosphere is very nice I can’t speak for the service as I ordered. It to go…but for the past 4 years I have been craving a giant pretzel. I highly recommend this place. Also got a roast beef sandwich. Their gravy is amazing. Just like grandma made!

Service was terrible, we are from out of town and was trying to be seated. At first the party was big but we reduced it to accommodate the servers and the old lady wrapping silverware went out of her way to make our experience terrible. Then the servers except for Kenzie treated us terrible for asking questions. I would Never come back to that terrible environment.

Lots of TV’s so you will be able to watch your chosen sports activity with no problem. Food was average and the service was good – not super friendly but not unpleasant either.

Hit or miss… either really good food with good service or, not. Pictured is their “pot pie” which ive never had. 3 bites in, and it was sent back. Others at our table ordered the same and sent theirs back as well. Looked like vomit, tasted bland, nasty all for $14.95. Left and went to Arby’s.

Gotta give this place a four simply because of the food. I got the German burger, and it BLEW MY MIND. However, if you’re a stickler for service, maybe be wary.
The kid who took our order just checked out from work in the middle of our meal and didn’t tell anyone. We tried to get some refills at the bar, but there was only one dude behind the bar, serving drinks to friends, but he wasn’t even on the clock, so no drinks.
The atmosphere is great. I love the decor. The only complaint is that the booth seat was ripped from one side to the other and the floor was covered with soap or something. Zero friction under my feet. It wasn’t horrible, but not great. TL;DR: cool atmosphere, crap seating. Just needs a bit of TLC.
I’ll be back for the food, at least. Hopefully, the service improves before then, or I get a more responsible waiter. Will happily change this to five stars if the whole staff mess improves.
