Absolutely amazing cafe! My wife and I stopped in for the first time. The place was completely packed on a Tuesday at noon. We were seated in a booth immediately. The hostess was very kind and also took our order. She stopped by the table regularly to fill drinks and check on us. My wife ordered the chef salad and I ordered the lunch special, BBQ sandwich with coleslaw and french fries. The food was amazing just like the service. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. You can also order casseroles to go!

I wanted to eat here for a while and find got a day off of work so I decided to come and try. I ordered the western bowl because a buddy of mine said it was good. The food came out and it wasn’t even on a bowl it was on a plate. The hash browns with cheese on them were burnt to a crisp so all I tasted was burnt flavor
The ribeye had an absolutely horrible flavor because it was burnt also. I think the only thing good was the unsweet tea and the eggs. Everything else on the plate was terrible. My brother ordered the senior plate and nothing on his plate was burnt and he enjoyed it so I guess I was just unlucky. Now I sitting at home on my only day off feeling disappointed with my stomach turning and feeling nauseous because I I can still taste is the burnt flavor, like licking a dirty cast iron skillet. I’m pretty sure there is a lot of people who enjoy this place and eat here everyday and probably get good food, but as for me I didn’t get good food. Unfortunately they showed me no reason to ever want to come back here, not trying to be mean but please do better

First time diner. My wife had the Reuben sandwich and stated it was the best one she’d had in years. I had an excellent club sandwich which lasted two meals. Wait staff were very friendly. Super busy on Saturday.

We stumbled upon this breakfast spot and absolutely loved it!
The food tastes just like homemade—warm, comforting, and full of flavor. You can tell it’s a small, family-owned business because everything feels personal, from the way you’re greeted to how the food is made with care.

We had the chicken fried chicken special and it was amazing—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. And that mashed potatoes and corn bread were amazing as well.
We’ll definitely be coming back. So glad we found this gem.

I have lived in East Texas for a long time and today was my first time here and man I can’t say enough how good the lemon blueberry pancakes are. All I used on them is butter I don’t even need syrup. I ordered 1 lemon blueberry pancake and an order of sausage. I will definitely be back to try some other yummy options.

Was driving backroads from Sulphur Springs to Austin and was looking for a good breakfast spot. Mission accomplished! I ordered bacon, eggs and Lemon Blueberry pancakes with a side of sausage. My lady had a country omelette and we both enjoyed some coffee. Our meals were cooked perfectly. The coffee was smooth. The atmosphere was great and the wait staff was very friendly. Wilda was our waitress and she made our visit amazing. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stop here again and try out some of the lunch options. Come out and support your local restaurants and avoid chains. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service and Phenomenal Food

We recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming café, and despite a minor miscommunication at the beginning, our experience was nothing short of delightful. The café was bustling with activity, and when our table was mistakenly given away, the staff handled the situation with grace and efficiency. Mrs. Tammy, in particular, went above and beyond by offering us two complimentary desserts as a kind gesture.

What truly stood out to us was the evident pride everyone took in their work. It’s refreshing to see a team that genuinely cares about their business, and this dedication is reflected in every aspect of the dining experience. From the front-of-house staff to the kitchen team, everyone was focused on providing top-notch service and quality food.

The menu did not disappoint. We tried the pancakes, the Reuben, and the turkey burger, and each dish was absolutely delicious. The coffee was fresh, hot, and the perfect complement to our meal. Our server, though we didn’t catch her name, was outstanding—attentive, sweet, and polite, making our visit even more enjoyable.

It’s clear that the team at this café is committed to delivering great experiences, and it shows in the care they put into both their service and their food. We made the drive all the way from Nacogdoches, Texas, and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be returning to savor more of what this wonderful café has to offer.

The vibe is the best part if this place! There are regulars, it is small, it is busy! It reminded me a little bit of going back in time. Nostalgic. I went for the lemon blueberry pancakes. Tasted more vanilla-but were light and fluffy. Not quite what I expected, but still good. Service was great. Worth a trip for sure. Get there early or be prepared to wait. Not a lot of room to wait indoors-tip #1.

Really a nice little home style café. The sausage omelet was very good. Others with me thought the food was very good. The chocolate pie was a great finish. Friendly waitress.
