When my wife and I came in and the waitress smelled of booze. She came to wipe the only dirty table that was available and she didn’t even completely wipe the table clean properly. When the menus were provided they were covered in various foods. She gave us pops that had straws that were not individually wrapped and just put them in the drinks without asking. We ended up not staying or even drinking the drinks and they still charged us for them.

Lunch was delicious and our bartender/ waiter was great. Always there when we needed something, while still taking care of all the other tables. This was my first time there and their broasted chicken was amazing.

The food was very good, better than some other places I’ve eaten. Waitress was very friendly and I can’t say enough about her hospitality. The atmosphere was very clean and is inviting. Greeted as you walk in the door.

It is a very small place and we were lucky that a table was clearing as we were arriving. They were pretty busy on a Friday night so we waited a bit for our food but I would have waited another 45 minutes if I had to for that damn Broasted chicken. Perfect crisp. Definitely a must try, thank me later. It is worth the wait and the staff is friendly and the drinks are strong. I highly recommend this hidden gem. My wing-snob wife gave their wings double thumbs up (equal to 6 stars) They have their chicken game on lock.
Second visit was just as excellent as the first. Got a table right away and food was hot and delicious. Locals are kind and welcoming. The Broasted Chicken is killer!!!

Staff was very friendly, creating space for us to sit and eat. Food was great, drinks were cheap, and the people were friendly. Great spot for people out on a bike ride to stop and eat. Breakfast here is also top notch. Easily accessible from trails or Ave G. Love Third Base!

Words are hard when I’m this full. The hangover skillet was excellent. Over-medium eggs is a request that can throw many dive bar brunches off. Third base is not your average dive bar brunch. Couldn’t ask for a better New Year’s Meal.
