The picture is deceiving. The pulled pork was old and dry, bacon was over cooked and hard. Probably the worst sandwich I have ever got at a BBQ place. I probably should have complained since I couldn’t eat more than half of it but I didn’t have time. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this place.

Great place. The food is delicious, the place looks great, and the owners and staff are so friendly, they really know how to make you feel welcome. They make homemade candy, and the toffee was some of the best I’ve ever had. I highly reccomend the pulled pork with the bourbon BBQ sauce. The chicken wings are amazing as well. But definitely get some of the chocolates, you won’t regret it.

Some friends and I ate there this evening. Overall it was a decent experience and I will probably go again. I ordered the MooMac which is a hamburger topped with mac and cheese. The Mac and Cheese was terrible and tasted really cheap. My friend ordered the mac and cheese as a side and said the same thing. Kind of disappointing. The fries were batter dipped and were delicious though. My friends ordered ribs, pulled pork and brisket and they all said their food was good. While there I used the ladies room, and part of the wall had a huge hole in it by the floor and was boarded up but not completely. Plenty of room for critters to get through. I found that a bit odd. It took our server a super long time to bring our change and credit cards back to the table also. Maybe she was new, I don’t now. I am always willing to give someone a second chance and will do so. Hopefully, I will be able to give it 5 stars next time.

Not as good as a year ago – very chilly inside, food got cold as I had to wait for the Sauces to be brought to me, waitress forgot the Horseradish sauce for the Prime Rib dinner, & spoons for the Baked Beans. She had no clue what desserts were available, because “no one ever asked for desserts before”. The cornbread tasted odd, bad shortening or bad cornmeal? Hopefully we’ll have better service & better food next time we come.

We stopped there after a softball tournament on a Saturday night. They had two young seemingly inexperienced servers and an older lady working. The restaurant was fairly empty other than our party of 15. Yes a large party so I expected it being a bit more lengthy of a wait, but it took us 30 minutes to get our drinks. Took another 30 minutes before our food order was taken, took an hour before food arrived, and some orders were wrong. The ribeyes were practically all fat, mac n cheese was no good, hamburger was way over cooked. Waitress was rude when we expressed our displeasure. Offered us 15% off of our appetizers. Gee thanks. Also the water tasted really bad, perhaps straight from the river. Beer bottles were almost room temperature. Overall a terrible dining experience. We come to Wabash quite a bit and will be avoiding this place in the future and I would recommend you do the same. Thanks.
