Mmmaaaannn Listen!!!
Food: SUPERB!! Large portions! well seasoned. The crab meat is authentic & it oozes out of that eggroll…It’s a fat egg roll sliced in half
Wait : you will wait on fresh seafood, but it’s well worth it!!
This is a food truck, they move pretty fast. well organized.
Pricing: .medium in terms of pricing. Not cheap, but also not expensive. You will spend more than $20 for that crab cake but you get two meals from it!
I will go back again & again!

I’ve been to Baltimore Maryland twice this summer and have not found a reasonable crab cake until I came back home. I spent $66 in Baltimore at a very popular restaurant for one crab cake not including the rest of the dinner. 33rd and Main… I paid $66 for the seafood egg roll and that huge crab cake both are large healthy portions and I could not finish it all in one setting. I had to finish the rest at work in the middle of my shift. So this was money well spent.

The seafood eggroll is huge!! The crab cake is too. We didn’t finish either one. So I can’t wait to eat my leftovers.
Just FYI — when we got there, the lot where the truck is parked was full (very small lot). I parked next door but stayed in my car while my daughter got the food just in case because the signs said the parking was for the other business only. So I don’t know if they have an agreement or not but we got our food and left to be respectful of the other business.

Let me introduce you to 33rd & Main, a food truck that’s been repeatedly recommended to me for its incredible seafood egg rolls and crab cakes. Usually parked at 2121 Central Ave, this spot is run by Ish, who hails from Southeast Washington, D.C. While he may not be a true Marylander, his proximity and skill make him more than trustworthy when it comes to crafting the perfect crab cake.

The menu boasts choices like the Seafood Egg Roll, Crab Cake, Crab Cake Burger, Bang Bang Shrimp, and a special that rotates—when I went, it was the Loaded Crab Bisque. Now, let’s address the elephant in the room: the prices might make you do a double-take, but you’re paying for top-tier quality and massive portions. And let’s face it, real crab meat doesn’t come cheap.

The Crab Cake features jumbo lump crab, expertly held together with just a hint of sauce and egg as a binder. When they say “no filler,” they mean it. I’ve had my fair share of crab cakes in Maryland, and this one might just take the crown. If you want a dish that could feed a small army, this is it. (See photo for size reference.)

I couldn’t resist the special, the 16oz Loaded Crab Bisque. The bisque was rich, creamy, and packed with crab in every spoonful. It even gives my favorite crab soup spot in Charlotte a serious run for its money.

The Seafood Egg Roll is a sleeper hit. It’s the size of a 20-ounce brick—seriously, it’s that big! Hand-rolled fresh daily, you won’t find any frozen egg rolls on this truck. It’s rolled and fried to crispy perfection and filled with chunks of shrimp, lump crab, and cheese, all seasoned with a house-made Old Bay blend. This is one to share. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could split it between family members! (See photo for size reference.)

The Bang Bang Shrimp is another must-try. Lightly battered and fried to crispy perfection, these shrimp are plump, juicy, and coated in a house-made bang bang sauce that’s got just the right amount of spicy kick and a hint of sweetness to balance it out. If you’re a fan of Bonefish Grill’s version, you’re going to love this.

And if you have any room left after all that seafood goodness, cool off with a Philly Water Ice for dessert. The flavors rotate, so there’s always something new to try.

Heads up: everything is made fresh to order, so expect about a 20-minute wait—but trust me, it’s worth it.

IMPECCABLE SHRIMP TACO!!!!!! This was by far the best shrimp taco I have ever eaten! The sweet, spicy, savory mix of flavors is perfection in a tortilla!!! Shout out to the chefs running the truck….they were friendly, engaging and courteous!

Their crab cake for $35.00 was not that good. I paid for ONE crab cake that they stated was 11 ounces so I thought it better be good. I’ve had better ones from Costco. I did receive a bag of chips. They are way overpriced for their quality. My bill was almost $39.00 including tax. Take that money and go to a nice sit down restaurant where you are waited on and if the food sucks you can have it taken back.

This was my first crab cake experience and I must say it wasn’t bad. I actually enjoyed the sandwich very much. I don’t think I’ll pay that much for one sandwich again though. It was an experience
