They have the best grilled steak salad and choice baked potato. I like the steak Melt as well but nothing tops his actual grilled steak. But as appetizer try his cutlery board it’s really good good environment kind of loud but good environment. I’m not much of the bar scene but I really enjoy their food so I just like to go earlier in the day.

My family and I ate here for the first time tonight. Overall it was a good experience, but could have been better. The wait times were a little long and service could be improved. Refills were never offered when our mason jar glasses ran dry and it took a little over 5 minutes before someone came to our table once we seated ourselves and it wasn’t busy when we arrived, but they did say they were short handed tonight. Most of the food was very good overall, but the homemade French fries were a bit soggy and looked to have been fried in older oil as they were nearly all dark brown. I was let down a bit because the fries are homemade and cut daily and they were ok, but just not great. The sweet potato fries were much better in my opinion. Prices are mostly good, but some plates are a little high when you compare them to similar options at other restaurants and compared to portion size. I had the Cuban and it was really good, but it was small compared to authentic Cubans. It is also on toasted buttered bread and not pressed Cuban bread, but again it was very good and wouldn’t change a thing on it, but I was expecting a larger sandwich for $12. It really should be no more than $10 based on my experience and the dozens of Cubans I’ve eaten over the years. The kids options are all $6 but do not include sodas which are $2 more. If some of the prices were just a little less and wait times and service was a little better they would have easily received 5 stars. They have a lot of yummy options on the menu from salads, sandwiches, and burgers to Tacos and various appetizer options. They also have specials that are not in the menu, but you have to follow them on Facebook to know when those are offered like Shrimp and Grits and Baked Spaghetti, both of which should be on the menu full time in my opinion. Hope my review helped you decide on a good and new place to eat in Douglas.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant!!!! I immediately felt like family when I went in and sat at the bar. The pork chop, salad, and zucchini were spot on. Quiet staff was beyond attentive and friendly. Ended up spending almost 3 hours talking to the owner and locals who sat at the bar. Thank you for a fantastic experience!!!!

Wonderful atmosphere! Quick service, great food! Hartley (our waitress) was very nice but she seemed to roll her eyes after I reminded her about forgetting my husband’s togo sweet tea.

After having a wonderful lunch with my friend there earlier in the week, I wanted to treat my son out for lunch. We arrived at 11:30 specifically to avoid the lunch rush. There were two occupied tables. The waitress promptly took our order and brought us our drinks. We then continued to sit there for over 40 minutes while other customers came in, ordered and were served. My son had to return to work, so I found our waitress and told her we still had not been served; she said she would check. We continued to wait and which point my son finally had to go back to work without eating while others who had come in well after us enjoyed their lunch. I paid for our drinks and left without the waitress ever letting us know what the problem was and yet continued to take orders and serve others. Very disappointing visit.

The foodw was okay. I ordered my steak medium well and it was pretty rare. The veggies were very good though.

If your looking for good food and good times, 317 is THE SPOT!!! I ordered the grilled shrimp skewers with French fries and it was delicious!!! Handcut French fries at best!!!! Open bar and Karaoke on Thursdays!!!!
