While visiting Fort Lauderdale we wanted to dine at a restaurant over looking the ocean. Wanted to dress up and have a “nice dinner”, we are from Dallas so one thing we discovered in Fort Lauderdale was that they are a bit more relaxed then we are accustomed too. When entering we thought the restaurant would be a little more “set apart” from the hotel itself. It’s not, it’s literally attached to the lobby with no door or barrier to entry. The restaurant also provides the hotels lobby bar so with that there are mixes of people in shorts, more dressed for dinner and extra casual. Because of it’s open concept and proximity to the lobby it’s actually a little noisy. Now the FOOD, the food was great, I especially enjoyed and probably had the best Miso Sea-bass iv’e ever had and I order Sea-bass a lot! My husband had the wagu filet and loved every bite. They key lime pie was divine, I didn’t get a picture because we took that to go.The drinks were made very good from the bar and they had a nice wine list. We would definitely go back just with a more relaxed mind set verses dress up date night. The service was good, not top tier but still very good.

We had an absolutely terrific experience at 3030 Ocean! Our waiter, Roshan, was exceptional and made our evening truly special. We started with the lobster and crab cold salad over potatoes, which was absolutely delicious.

We also had the mushroom ravioli, truffle fries, and the sea bass of the day, all of which were perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. We were so satisfied that we couldn’t even manage dessert! We’ll definitely be coming back.

We sat down at the bar for a quick lunch before our conference. Our bartender was great and quickly got us menus. He said they had just changed the menus that day so there were some new items on there. I ordered the Oaxaca Chicken Quesadilla with shrimp. When I started eating my quesadilla I noticed it was chicken. I jokingly asked our bartender “Where’s the shrimp?” I was thinking it might have been mixed in somewhere but nope, there was none to be found. He was extremely apologetic and offered to bring me another one but we were already pressed for time so I told him it was okay. He did make it right and removed it from our bill. Great service and atmosphere, with just a minor hiccup on the order.

Dinner here once on the trip. Was very good food, but was a little over priced. The dessert however made the dinner and we picked up dessert to go a few other nights. At the very least its work doing drinks and dessert here. The Dubai Chocolate cheesecake was incredible.

As locals, we love eating out by the ocean in spite of the fact that we are a popular tourist destination. We enjoyed dinner at 3030 Ocean last Saturday evening. Located inside the Marriott Harbor Hotel is this gem of a restaurant.
From start to finish, our meal was superb. The mussels were prepared in a light, rich rosemary infused buttery sauce, plentiful, cooked to perfection and served with grilled pita bread. We started eating them before I took the photo! The scallops with lemongrass and farro was layered with flavor and the Patagonian sea bass was exceptionally tasty with bok choy and edamame purée. Try the light and refreshing coconut sorbet for dessert. We will return soon, and perhaps a bit later in the evening as there were younger children there, tourists staying in the hotel, we presume, and it was a bit noisy. We were very pleased with our server! Valet parking is available with charming and knowledgeable attendants. The ocean view is spectacular as you would expect. The menu is small, and obviously allows the chef to showcase his/her skills!

Really really good food. The Al Pastor cocktail sauce with the shrimp cocktail was the best I’ve ever had. The octopus with a custom sauce and chimichurri was a flavor explosion in your mouth. Followed up with a main course of scallops with a butternut squash sauce and noodles was amazing. Even the kids chicken was extremely well flavored and cooked.
The place is pretty expensive but everything I ate was on par with the best version of that food I’ve ever had. Anything less than five stars would be a joke.

My husband and I had the Valentine’s Day prix fixe meal and the creativity and taste of the meal was outstanding. It included a Wagyu steak in a cocoa and espresso rub that was the tenderest I’ve ever had. The beet pappardelle pasta in goat cheese cream sauce was heavenly. The pastry dessert was a little strange and not tasty–a purple box over a chocolate cake that tasted mostly like berries. But the restaurant was less a fine dining experience than I expected. The dining room lights mysteriously went on and off repeatedly and our harried waiter had no explanation. The table next to ours remained dirty long after the guests left.

Roshan was an amazing waiter, he recommended delicious dishes for us and was very kind. I 100% recommend the burrata appetizer, the sea scallops and the sea bass. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. This place is definitely worth it. The old fashioned was served with smoke too.

Excellent food. Not too fancy of a restaurant, it is located within the Marriot hotel, and is formal. It is cozy and calm. The black cod and the Sea scallops were particularly tasty! And the sides wete the Brussels and Mac n cheese very good.
