They say it’s clean, but baby, I’ve seen gas station restrooms with more soul. It took a small eternity to get my food—toast, mind you—and when it finally floated in like it had survived a storm at sea, the server dropped it like it was cursed.
Did they ask if I wanted a refill? No ma’am. Not once. Not even a pity glance. My coffee cup sat there so long, it started whispering stories from the other side. Dry. Abandoned. Spiritually thirsty.
You want hospitality? Keep drivin’. You want edible food served without an omen? Light a candle. The water tasted like it passed through three emotional breakdowns before it hit the glass.
Would I go back? Only if I’m reincarnated as a cockroach with low standards and a death wish.

Food was good. Waitress kept coffee cup topped off. When I asked for a to-go cup for my coffee she reached over and got a large drink cup, stopped at the urn and filled it and capped it and brought it to me. It must have held a quart. I asked “how much?” and she replied “No charge. You just have a blessed day”. If ever I’m back in Camilla again, that is where I’ll eat.

Good hot cooked to order food. Waitress was another issue. Horrible! She seemed pissed off at the world so much to the fact we were getting tickled at how hard she was trying to let everyone know. Seem liked potentially racial issues.

I really appreciate the service. Very polite, very kind, didn’t have to ask for refills. They were on top of it. Clean, even smells clean. They weren’t in a rush to get me out like most stores or restaurants. Thank you very much SAM.

My family and I decided to give this place a shot. We’ve heard mixed reviews, but the google reviews are good. So, we thought, why not?
I really would have liked to give this establishment more than 1 star, but I simply cannot and call myself an honest person. I’ll start by saying our waitress, Aliyah, was good. She was very kind and I could tell she wanted us to have a nice experience. As for the food, the majority of it was just cut-rate cafeteria quality, not great, but edible. Had all the food been this way, I wouldn’t even take the time to write a review. However, my son ordered the ribeye medium-rare. When it was served, I cut into it and it was beyond well done, which our waitress acknowledged, and offered to bring us another. I declined another steak because, one, we really didn’t have time to wait any longer, and, two, we’re not above eating an over-done steak. So we continued with the meal. I tried a piece of my son’s steak and I can’t say I’ve ever tasted a steak that bad. It was heavily over-seasoned, but that wasn’t even the problem. The meat itself tasted very, very off. The aftertaste was enough to make both me and my son nauseous. 100% inedible. So he just ate his sides. We didn’t make a fuss.
When our waitress brought us the check, she asked how everything was. So, I was honest. I told her that I’ve never eaten a steak that tasted like that, over-cooked or otherwise, and that it was inedible. To my surprise, she tasted a piece herself and her words were “that doesn’t taste like steak.” She apologized, and offered again to bring us another. Again, I refused because we had to be on our way.
In summary, whoever owns/manages this establishment, if you’re reading this, you need to check on your business, homie. It’s bad, even for Camilla’s standards.
That said, again, Aliyah is a good waitress and I don’t blame her.

We were very pleased with how polite everyone was and how great the food was. We were passing through on a random road trip from Florida and decided to stop here for breakfast. Our favorite spot to eat in Camilla. Everything is good. My favorite things to get are the burgers, wings, and sweet tea. My wife’s favorites are the hamburger steak dinner and their patty melts. My kids love their waffles and pancakes. There is something for everyone. And I love that they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert anytime so we can all go and get whatever we want together. Waiting staff are kind and give us great service. If they aren’t taking care of customers they are cleaning and it shows. Keep up the great work
