The owner was within a month of retirement when I stopped. (JULY ’25) Had a great conversation with him and he was confident that his staff would carry on the tradition. The pizza itself? It reminds me a lot of a stromboli with Salami and Peppers, I liked it. Its different but different is what Im looking for most times with pizza!

When I first wanted to try Altoona style pizza, this was the first place to come up. Let me say that I really became a fan, even if it is a bit different. The owners are really wonderful people, and I really enjoyed talking with them the handful of times I was able to make it up there and visit. I’m not sure how much longer they will be open, but I highly recommend giving it a shot before they either sell or close.

First time ordering from this business. Highly recommend. We ordered delivery for lunch – a good sized order. They called me back and offered to put names on each order since there were so many of us that ordered. Food was delivered in a very timely manner and order was spot on. Food was excellent!!! Will definitely be ordering from here again in the future.

Had the amazing buffalo chicken stromboli so full of chicken and cheese also came with ranch! Hands down BEST I’ve ever had! Also had the regular stromboli and it was stuffed fill of meat and cheese! So good and filling! Will be back!

Finally got to come in this weekend after missing it the first time I ended up in Altoona. Was an amazing lunch and amazing conversation with the crew in there for over an hour! Was a pleasure meeting you all and I’ll be sure to return soon The Altoona slice was a pleasant surprise and they know what they are doing there with their pizza, the dough was perfect in terms of a Sicilian slice and the history behind the Altoona style is actually much older than I thought. Also the shredded BBQ chicken sub was amazing and even the fries….if fries still taste good 8 hours later you KNOW they got it down! Hopefully I’ll be back sooner than later.

This was my first time stopping to finally try Altoona style pizza. Upon walking in we were greeted and made to feel at home. The owners were extremely friendly. The pizza was absolutely delicious. Very different than normal pizza and I’m stoked to finally have had this! The entire time people were coming and going and the phone ringing. I recommend to stop in and give it a try!
