First time here on a recommendation from a family friend. I’ll definitely be back! Some of the best grub in OCMD! Brisket was tender, hush puppies were good, and corn was good as well. My grandmother ate all but 2 little bites of the pot pie, my mother had the fish and chips and the fish was the size of a piece of haddock! The girlfriend had a French dip sandwich and said it was great as well. We all enjoyed our meals.

I ordered brisket and my brother ordered ribs. Disgusting.
The brisket was like diced roast. Chewy and tasteless.
The ribs were like tasteless mash potatoes.
The girl serving us was the only good thing about this place.
When you walk into a place and it is mostly empty when every other place in Ocean City is full during bike week, you should have known something was wrong. I should have known something was wrong.
I would not send family to this place, I would not even send an enemy to this place.

I’m a fan of patty melts but they have all now taken second place to the brisket melt I got here. Plenty of tender meat with bacon, onions, and bacon jam. A bit drippy but yummy! Also had the potato salad, one of the best I have tried. Just skin-on red potatoes, more bacon, very little mayo, and nicely spiced – perfect! The tequila cocktail was on the tart side but refreshing.

Open late and accommodated us right before the kitchen closed, which was nice because it was one of the few places still open after getting out late from a music festival. They even gave us a small discount upon showing our wristbands. The decor was neat and was filled with album covers from classic musicians.
Our server seemed disinterested and like she didn’t wanna be there. I get that it was near close, but you can at least throw a smile or two in. The old hostess was really sweet, though.
On the plus side, the food was good. The ribs were caramelized on the outside from the burnt sugar; it and the chicken were cooked well. The hush puppies and the sweet potato fries were great and the mac was solid. Everything was hot and seemed fresh, but the nachos severely lacked in cheese. Prices were surprisingly good for BBQ and you get a lot of food.
Place is extremely loud, so don’t go if you want a quiet meal.

Was up the street from where I was staying, was hungry, saw they were open and the rest is history. I had old bay wings and bacin wrapped scallops…….nothing short of fantastic. Good variety on the menu, both drinks and food. I went in the middle of the day, not crowded or loud. 11/10 recommend.

We just happened to be walking by when the aroma from the pub was so profound. We decided to look at the menu they had in the front of the building. My husband ordered the brisket with mac and cheese and cornbread. I ordered the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes, ceaser salad, and cornbread . Both meals were half off due to a special they were having .my husband enjoyed his brisket. I was not a fan of the meatloaf. Tasted like half beef half turkey. My overall impression was very good, but I believe I just ordered the wrong meal . The corn bread is more of a sugar bread, which is a major turn-off for a BBQ restaurant .

Very authentic barbecue restaurant! We had the beef sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, a cheesesteak, BBQ pulled pork, and a fish and chips. We had fries, chips, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes as sides. The food was a definite 5/5 and the server was nice and patient. There were people smoking and cussing in the building, so that was a negative. There were also some sports games on and the place was decorated in a cozy way. Great place!

Saw advertisements on the boardwalk so I said let’s give it a try. Walked in warm greeting and got sat down right away. Nice little cozy place. I sat downstairs but they have open upstairs seating as well. Started off with the bbq wings. Very good not to saucy. Then I went for the brisket platter with macaroni & cheese with sweet potato fries. Brisket was perfect. Macaroni & cheese very good and creamy. The sweet Potato fries were a little dry and didn’t really have a taste. Other than that the have a full bar with tvs for sports as well. Definitely would go again.

Gave this place a go when I saw the reviews. We visited this place on 7/24/23. We got there late, about 8:40 at night so I figured dinner would be smooth sailing with three rush over. Staff was short, and not attentive at all. Never followed up and asked how food was when it came out and never once asked us for refills of our drinks. When I hear “pit” I think great smoked meats. The loaded tater-tots were delicious. That’s where it ended. I got the “pound of ribs” and was very disappointed. They were cold, and tasted lousy. No smoked flavor whatsoever. Sauce and seasoning was bland or non existent. There are better options for a great dinner within eye sight of this place.

It is my all time favorite bbq. All of the food is always great but you guys mastered RIBS. I am a rib guy and these are the best and i have tried many up and down the east coast.
