My love and I decided to have a late lunch at 27 West Family Restaurant because we were in Vale and I had read good reviews.
The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. The interior was basic. Like a family restaurant.
We first noticed how reasonable meals were priced. There were some unique things on the menu.
Our server was very friendly and attentive.
This is not a fast food restaurant. My love and I both ordered double cheeseburger baskets. It took some time to prepare. I understood why when our meals came to the table. The burgers were much like what you would make at home. They weren’t the typical flat frozen patties that other restaurants serve. It wasn’t easy to eat a large double cheeseburger due to how tall it was stacked. But it was worth the effort!
We will certainly return to try other things on the menu when we are in the area.

Just stopped by for lunch and are we glad we did! The food is fresh, hot and delicious. One of the best chili cheeseburgers I’ve ever had! And the onion rings are fantastic! We can’t wait to come back and try the seafood. Great new find and we highly recommend!

This was my 2nd experience. 1st was take out, 2nd was dine in. Food was great both times!! Very friendly staff with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back!!

This has got to be the best place in NC to get a burger that I have ever been to!! Their tea was good, and everything was cheap. only complaint is that the skinny fries weren’t all that good, but the crinkle cut ones were amazing! I you get a chance, come eat here NOW!!

Amazing quality food all around. The staff is super kind. Some of the best hush puppies I’ve ever tried along with incredible pulled pork with house made vinegar. Absolutely will be coming back for more!
