Went for lunch with two of my friends. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and a large iced tea which came to $13. I asked how was this $13 and the reply from counter person was 5.50 for the iced tea. I went to sit down and saw the manager and asked him why the iced tea was $5.50? His condescending reply was it’s like that all over , what do you want me to do about it. Mind you there were six other people in the eating area at the time and they all heard this and we’re all stating how expensive their meals were as well. One friend had bagel and tuna with a coffee and it was $17. I understand the cost of going out and Mark up on food and wages for your help, however, The markup on ice tea is insane, and shame on you for taking advantage of people. I am aware that it’s only a few dollars, The point I’m making is that people are choosing to go to your establishment which has been in the community forever and very familiar to all of us, There’s no justification!

The real deal when it comes to authentic New York bagels! The bagel is cooked and prepared to perfection. This place offers a lot more than just bagels, they have warm and cold lunches, desserts & pastries, cold coffee bar and hot coffee plain or all types of flavors. Gift platters & catering. Credit, debit, and cash accepted. Take out or seating to eat in, but no table side service. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Great service.

It’s a really great bagel deli with an obnoxiously long line to order. I mean out the door long.
You’re better off calling it in and picking it up. ☎️
They have a huge assortment of salads, sandwiches, wraps and, of course, bagels and bialies.
There is a decent sized indoor seating area as well as 3 picnic tables outside.
They really are the best bagels on Long Island!
The four stars reflects the long wait. It’s every time…

I love the half dipped chocolate chip cookies and the crumb cake coffee iced. All of the food is great, been coming here for over 25 years.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I recently placed an order with 24 hour bagel in Oceanside for a platter meant for a small family gathering following a loss. I had hoped that something as simple as breakfast would be taken care of so the family could focus on being together.
Unfortunately, when a family member arrived to pick up the order, she was told the platter was not made, they didn’t have the order for it despite my card having been charged in advance. There was no apology that matched the gravity of the situation, nor any sense of urgency to correct the mistake. It felt like a complete afterthought to the rude little girl I spoke with. I asked for a manager and she stated she was the best I was going to get. Sadly, she sounded like she was 12, with zero problem solving skills. She just kept stating “we don’t have your order” well obviously!!!
Mistakes happen, I understand that. But the lack of follow-through and empathy in a moment like this was incredibly disappointing. What should have been a small comfort during a difficult morning turned into added stress and frustration.
I truly hope this was an isolated incident, but I would encourage the store to look closely at their process—and to remember that for customers, especially during sensitive times, reliability and care really matter.
I will not cater from this place again!

Stopped in at 5pm on Saturday.
Plenty of good classic NYC style bagels to choose from, even at a weird time of day.
All of the deli case salads looked fresh.
We stuck with bagels which were all very good.
The B & W cookie was fluffier than most but still well worth having.
Prices and portions were excellent.
Breakfast specials looked like excellent bargains.
The only downsides were the parking lot (what is it about Trader Joe’s locations always having fubar parking?) and that the service was a little slow.
But a place that’s open 24/7 AND has really good food, is still a winner.

The only place I’ve ever seen where they had 20 people behind the counter and still take over 10 minutes to acknowledge your existence when there was no line. I left with out food never even got to taste anything because I was so angry at the way things were operated there I had to leave

24 Hour Bagel use to be my go to place. I started coming here back in 2001 when they first opened. I lifeguarded at Oceanside Pool and this was the go to lunch spot. Not anymore. This establishment has gone down hill. Every time I order a bagel or a sandwich it comes out wrong. No one here knows how to toast a bagel dark, they don’t follow instructions either. This has happened several times that I felt this review was necessary. Avoid this place if you like your sandwich done right. It’s not worth the wait. The picture below is what they believe is a toasted dark everything bagel, not toasted at all.

As a night shift nurse with no sleep schedule this place ensures I never miss out on my “morning” bagel, even if that’s 9pm! Always a fantastic fresh selection no matter what time of day. Delicious. Convenient. Fantastic.
