There are quite a few spots to check out on this block, but 225 Warren is definitely a solid choice if you’re looking for a casual, comfortable place to grab drinks and a bite. They’ve got a mix of bar seating, booths, and room for larger groups.
I sampled a few things from the menu during my visit. The fries were tasty and came in an adequate portion size for a starter—nothing over the top, but they got the job done. The calamari was okay. Let’s be honest: this isn’t a seafood restaurant, so expectations should be managed accordingly. That said, the marinara sauce was a good addition.
My least favorite item was the mac & cheese bites. I think the issue was more with the mac & cheese itself than the fact that it was fried. On the other hand, the mozzarella sticks were really well done and crispy.
The cauliflower wings are a good option. They’re not huge like other restaurants. They’re more like bite-size cauliflower balls. They definitely don’t taste like chicken, but it’s still a nice substitute for a veggie option.
One thing I’m not thrilled about is the added credit card fee and the fact that gratuity is included in the pricing. It’s just something to be aware of when you get the bill. It can feel a bit sneaky if you’re not expecting it.

Had a really good experience at 225 Warren Bar and Grill. The food was SO good. Everything was cooked with intention and it really showed. Partner got the swordfish special and it was tender and buttery, which I find hard to do with such a lean fish. The sauce really helped cut some of the richness. The calamari wasn’t over breaded but still crisp. The calamari and the chicken cutlet for my chicken parm were fried to order and came out piping hot. The aesthetic of the the place was clean, monochromatic, and modern, which lent a cool, high-end vibe. The servers were all very friendly and attentive. We went around 5pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. I would highly recommend.

Food was really great. Service was amazing. Everyone is really friendly and their positive energy was infectious. Wish I wasn’t just visiting from out of town, otherwise I’d be a regular for sure!
Oh, also they had frozen cocktails. Highly recommend.

225 Warren Bar and Grill was the ideal spot for lunch while traveling in Hudson, New York. The restaurant provided fun bites – like pizza egg rolls, fried green beans, and crispy fried jumbo wings – with large portions. The back of the house truly knows how to get down on the grill, and delivered us an expertly grilled chicken. We also ordered a wrap and the wings, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed by our staff.
Furthermore, 225 Warren Bar and Grill also has a wide selection of drinks – including cocktails, ciders and wines. Our glass of white arrived perfectly chilled and was a revitalizing refreshment to enjoy while seated in the sun. There was ample outdoor seating available, which was perfect for the beautiful summer weather. 360 Magazine looks forward to coming back to enjoy more of 225’s delicious dishes and drinks.

I hosted a dinner party for 22. They were extremely accommodating and we’re able to make my vision for an intimate family dinner possible. I ordered an array of appetizers for the entire table, to which none were left! They successfully served us all at once. The food was delicious! Then let me mention dessert ! Yummy!!! I enjoyed my birthday dinner. It was the first time for most of my family eating at 225 and all will be returning! Thank you again 225 staff!!!

Super convienient location on Warren St; great food, kind hospitality, and a cosy atmosphere.
Had the shrimp asparagus tempora to start and enjoyed the fun play on asian fusion it offered. Then enjoyed the french dip with garlic parm fries, honestly been craving a french dip and it definitly hit the spot.
My partner had the chicken parm and she enjoyed it alot! Plus the portion was so big she had some for later too.
All together great place for a bite to eat, the bar looked nice and inviting too with TVs and a good crowd. Would visit again! Also bonus points for some bad seed cider

The food and drinks were very good but the service was very slow. Nice atmosphere with options of sitting inside or out in the back. We sat out back, it was nice and sunny and we got to know our table neighbors, it was a lot of fun. Reasonable prices. I Had the fish and chips, so good, crispy, flaky and full of flavor!

Just okay. We were visiting for the weekend and selected this restaurant for dinner. The ambiance was lacking and the food was not very good.
We had the Buffalo Chicken Dip which was the best of the three dishes. The French Dip was too salty and the salmon was cooked well, but with wild rice and broccoli, it looked and tasted like a TV dinner. A very underwhelming dinner for visitors from New York City.

I’ve had some good meals in Hudson. But this is by far the best meal I have had in the city of Hudson. Sarah, our bartender/server was amazing. She was extremely kind and the service was fast.
Everything in my picture was delicious.

YUMMY YUMMY!! Their chicken tenders were absolutely delicious! My partner had the Warren grilled chicken sandwich and that was scrumptious too. The service was genuine and kind. They made us feel like family and this was our first time here. We will be back for sure. Thank 225 Warren Bar and Grill
