we brought our own fish… ” catch it they cook it”… they even let us bring our mix of beer breading… oh my gosh!! they made it perfectly!!! the service is amazing… so much fun…. It was a busy Saturday night but instead of making us wait 218 Tavern called in extra help. Kristi was our server and she treated us so well. She was kind, speedy, and ready to assist our large group with lots of kids. Food was absolutely amazing, made to perfection. Our portions were generous. Dessert was out of this world! Every one of us left with a smile on our face. We will definitely be returning to eat here while on our fishing trips.

Enjoyed a great California burger here the first night of our trip, with a side of sweet potato planks (flat and wide crinkle cut style fries) that were really good as well. The second night we feasted on some walleyes we brought up here from home that they fried up for us. The cook was even cool enough to use the home made beer batter I had brought. The bartender, Cheyanne, was super great as well, and took very good care of us both nights, even though she was kinda slammed. My new go to spot up here.

Wow, the food was amazing. The service was friendly and fast, and the place was really clean. 218 Tavern was good enough to get pinned on my Google Maps. I will be back. Definitely worth the drive! The burger was so big, I could hardly put a dent in my fries. The Mac and cheese on the MAC burger exceeded all expectations. The fries were tasty as well. My coworker raved about the 218 sauce on his bacon deluxe burger. You will not be disappointed.
