Ordered off Uber Eats and I got “jerk chicken” with no gravy on the chicken or rice and peas. So I got dry bland chicken and dry rice. Then when I called they said I had to ask for the gravy specifically, like that’s not how jerk chicken is supposed to be served. I’ll stick with Royal Caribbean in Wilkinsburg. Stay away.

So happy that this spot is here. It was opening day so wait times were longer than normal, busy isn’t bad. The staff were friendly and helpful. Keep in mind some items are made to order so wait times are extended.

I ordered Rice/peas, cabbage and Jerk Shrimp (MTO item). The r/p was solid, rice was perfect. Cabbage was reaaally good. But the shrimp were the stars. Their jerk sauce was super fresh, acid up front, then complex and warm, then the heat comes through and does what we love. The shrimp was sweet so it was really a 1-2 punch combo. Wow.

I can’t wait to come back for the Oxtails & patties.

It’s really refreshing to see a business where family moves as a unit, you got such a sense of love even watching them fill orders and get food ready. Wishing them the best. Truly.

Authentic caribbean cuisine at its best. Located in Sharpsburg. Had the BBQ Chicken Dinner. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

Food tasted good! Definitely more of a takeout place. They have two high tops where you could sit. We asked if it was spicy and they said that it was. But we found it to be somewhat spicy not overly spicy. The atmosphere kind of reminded me of some of the independent places I’ve been to in Jamaica. The chicken was cut in a similar way as they do in Jamaica right through the bones. The mac and cheese was unique and very good. It had some types of onions in it.

I had parked nearby to check out the classic car shop across the street. As soon as I got out of my car, I smelled heavenly scents of curry and grilled meat but had no idea where it was coming from until I rounded the corner and saw the 2 Sisters 2 Sons sign. I decided to try it for a late lunch. Got the very affordable lunch special with my chosen option: curry chicken with rice and peas (beans). It was a large portion and I only finished half of it there. It was the softest, most chicken-y chicken I ever ate, stewed in a savory curry broth with a slow-building heat. Perfect! Addictive! I WILL be returning as often as I can to try their other menu options. I highly recommend it!

I had oxtails which had a good sweet flavor, thin sause and a couple could have cooked longer but the ones that were tender I liked.
Rice and peas texture was spot on just needed more flavor.
Cabbage made the meal, every bite popped.
My 1 cousin had red snapper he said was cooked too hard but it was good, he like the mac and cheese, even went back and got his wife a order.
My other cousin had jerk chicken she said it was good, passed on the extra jerk sause because they warned it was hot Hot.
She also had a seafood fritter,it was good but also fried too hard.

I love Jamaica food IN JAMAICA so the couple of places I’ve eaten at here at home did not cut it.

This place I will be going back, I see a couple more dishes I want to try.

Goat curry is phenomenal; get it with mashed potatoes. The jerk chicken is pretty spicy and fantastic; get it with rice and beans. Plantains are great. Mac and cheese is not too good. Brown stew chicken is sweet and terrific. Curry chicken is not very spicy but really flavorful. One of my most favorite places in Pittsburgh for take out.

We stopped by 2 Sisters 2 Sons Saturday night, and it for sure won’t be the last time! We got the Goat Curry and the Jerk BBQ Chicken dinners, and they were both top notch! Amazingly friendly as well. We’re always excited to help support local restaurants/businesses (especially during this time). Do yourself a favor… and try it. We both agreed it was one of the best meals we’ve had in awhile… and it’s something a little different than what’s in our regular rotation. Welcome to the neighborhood!

The pepper steak was so flavorful and well cooked. Mashed potatoes and chicken patty had a great taste to them as well. Perfect portion sizes for the price. This restaurant is a great addition to Pittsburgh’s food scene, check this spot out!
