We were looking for a good place to go after visiting Ohio Caverns. This place caught our eye and my boyfriend had been wanting ribs. They unfortunately ran out of ribs by the time we got there. He ended up getting the catfish and shrimp which he said he enjoyed. I got the pork chop which had a great flavor to it and was juicier than I expected, which was way better than the drier ones I’m used to.

Some of the best St. Louis style ribs n Cornbread around. Got all the fixings of a good barbecue joint. Reasonable prices help you feel comfortable ordering whatever or how much you want. And all of it tasty. Atmosphere can be a little stiff though and management can be cold. But if you don’t mind, it’s definitely worth a visit.

We had a little “Christmas” gathering at 2G’s BBQ last night and it was AMAZING! The staff was so friendly, the inside was spotless and super welcoming, and the food… WOW.
I had the fish and it was OFF the hook! Others in our group ordered ribs, pulled pork, and loaded baked potatoes — everything was delicious. And the amount of food you get, we all took left overs.
Whether it’s a family dinner, a get-together with friends, or a small celebration, 2G’s is the perfect spot. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Stopped in to check it out. We ended up loving it. The corn bread is nothing short of amazing. In fact everything was very good. The there is the staff. They were awesome. They just all seemed to be happy. We will go back and we recommend if you haven’t been here yet to give it a try.

The food was pretty good. I must say. The owner chatted with us briefly, very nice, gentleman! Service needs a little help, though. No refills were offered even though the menu says endless drinks!

We had lunch there today. My 3 sons, my girlfriend, and myself. We have our own BBQ pop up business, so naturally we were curious to see what this place had to offer. My girlfriend looked on Google yesterday to see what restaurants were available around the area and saw this one pop up. She saw pictures of the food and it all looked amazing, so we wanted to give it a try.
We parked around the corner, so we had a short walk to the doors.
We were met with our waitress (Katie) right away. She told us to go ahead and seat ourselves. We picked a table towards the back that would seat all of us easily.
Katie got our drink orders right away. The lemonade was a bit weak, but she got another one right away. We each tried something different. We kind of passed stuff around for each of us to taste. My girlfriend got the porkchop dinner with mac n cheese and fries. The fries were amazing. Nice, hot, crispy. The porkchop was breaded nicely and deep fried. Perfectly done and juicy. The mac n cheese was ok, but she likes our’s better. Lol. My youngest son had the chicken tenders and fries kids meal. My oldest son had the gumbo. He said it was delicious. My middle son had the catfish and slaw. The catfish was also perfectly cooked. The coleslaw had pineapple in it. It was a good different flavor. I had the surf and turf with collard greens and slaw. The collard greens were amazing. Now for those fantastic beef ribs. OMG they were awesome. Seasoned just right and smoked to perfection. The rub is also amazing. Katie came back and checked on all of us a couple of times. She was nice enough to let us sample the green beans. I thought they were good. My girlfriend didn’t really care for them since she has some major texture issues with foods. The flavor was good, but she isn’t big on veggies in the first place. Everyone else liked them though.
Then we got to meet the man that is responsible for it all, George. He wrestled up all of our fixin’s for us. He did an awesome job. He talked to us for a little bit and we talked about our business as well. We are going to see what he thinks of our applepie BBQ sauce. He os a down to earth man that definitely knows how to cook. We, here at Baker’s BBQ can’t wait to be able to have a sit down conversation with George someday soon. Awesome job George! Thank you!
