Stopped off here on the way to our hotel from the airport. It was late so the kitchen was already closed but Bob the bartender made some great drinks. The atmosphere was great. Seemed like a local bar. It was like you stepped back in time to a Boston tavern. Would totally recommend and will go back next time I’m in town. Everything in the town closes by 9 or so. If you are looking for food bring snacks or eat early.

Atmosphere was good, also had a good pool table and dart board. However the staff were incredibly rude. Upon entering I was shouted at to show ID, and when I gave my passport to the barmaid she then slammed it back down on the bar counter, which was covered in beer. My passport was soaked after it. The drinks were good however and seemed like a good spot.

I read the bad reviews and still decided to check this place out after reading the good reviews. There’s always two sides to a story. Attached photo is a sign before you enter that states there is a dress code and back up IDs may be needed. My out of state license was sufficient, and I was greeted and served within 2 minutes. Bar tender during my visit is a great guy with knowledge of the area and was able to help me out with what I should see or do around here. It is cash only. Nice pool tables, multiple TVs, and the crowd made for a great visit!

I’ve spent a lot of money in this place in 6 months span of being on the cape. The door guys do what they want and don’t let people in they don’t want to let in so it has to be an owner thing as well. If your a girl of course your ok, but if you have a cut off shirt you “can’t get in” per the door guy.. then when asking the owner it’s ok. Or when 2 guys walk 45 minutes before close a new door man says there “isnt room” when you can clearly see there is plenty. They treat it like it’s Vegas and I’m sorry but it’s nowhere close. I will never give them my money and neither should you. If you’re on Main Street Hyannis go to Embargo or the actual other cool places with live music on Main Street. I like to shoot pool and bring friends here but they will not get my business again. Get your loser door guys out 19th hole

Wow! Totally weird review Sam Nozik! Funny that our doorman is black and the coolest, nicest guy ever! I was bartender on duty Sunday night and guess what if you don’t have ID you don’t get in. Super simple rule. Just ask the diverse fun crowd that was inside having fun drinking and playing pool. What a seriously ridiculous thing to say!

Staff members will use their hands to choke out and body slam a young girl but then have the AUDACITY to post looking for the only man who finally ran up and ripped the staff member off when the girl was put on the ground. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

Watch out for a group of three men in their mid thirties that always play darts. They harass women and are disrespectful. Don’t go here if ur a woman. Bartender made drinks fast. Free refills on non alcoholic drinks.

We Enjoyed playing pool @ the 19th Hole Tavern, have never been there before. It was recommended to us. The staff was very helpful and friendly. A Great Time was had by the 4 people, that played pool. Definitely plan on going back there again.

I thought the aroma was a nice little place to play pool. Until the bartender told our party that we couldn’t order anything else from the bar because my friend and I had been there for over 90 minutes. I have never been to a place that denied service and cash due to specific period of time… worst over you can’t even take you drink or food that you bought there around where you play pool. So perhaps you have to walk away and leave your drink or food if you wanna play pool.

Went there with friends last night and was told that starting next week they will only allow people with American I.Ds to enter. Crazy to think that an Irish bar will deny service to anyone with a foreign passport or I.D. I guess I won’t be going to this bar when my cousin from Ireland visits. And one bartender in particular was very rude. Definitely does not treat his customers right. Will not be coming back. In response to the owner, that is good to know. Both of my friends had their passports. The staff at the front door told us that he won’t accept them next week. Please let your staff know that you do accept passports.
