I’l had been wanting to go to Hog Fathers BBQ for a while. The parking is convenient and there is lots. The service was great. Helpful and was able to offer suggestions when asked. I only wish they had a sampler platter. I highly suggest getting the Mac and cheese. It’s yummy. The brisket meal was good and filling. The chicken sandwich was delish.

Staff is very friendly and provide attentive service. The cook even came out to check. The fall apart saucy ribs are so meaty & delicious. The brisket is to die for & you get a nice portion. Garlic mashed potatoes are seasoned appropriately. The corn bread is sweet & moist. Very cheesy mac & cheese. We really enjoyed our meals & will definitely be back.

Food is always absolutely delicious here. Inside of the place is kind of dull, but we’re there for the eats, not the atmosphere. Brisket is delicious, pork is delicious, heck, our friends love the cornbread so much they request it when they’re in town.

great place for BBQ with a backyard style. I was traveling on vacation and went south of my area just to go to a Sonny’s restaurant which I always liked. This place is just as good. Everything tasted great. Little too much salt on the sausage though it seemed. Had trouble choosing between menu items as they have some great selections.

10/10 would recommend! Delicious bbq (and a surprising Mac and cheese that was complex with flavor!) that is definitely worth trying. The staff is so kind, considerate and professional. They also have bottles beer!

For those who don’t want to read the following block of text: One of the best places I’ve ever eaten at. Will be back any time I am in the area. 100% recommend.
BBQ places, for me, need to hit a few key areas. Hog Fathers did to say the least.
Pros:
-Delicious sides.
Mac n cheese, sweet potato fries, garlic mashed potatoes, and cole slaw were all top notch. I don’t even like sweet potatoes and would’ve eaten two orders of those fries, so I can only imagine how good their regular fries are.
-Good meats.
Baby back ribs were fall off the bone, sauce was slightly tangy and delicious. Good ratio too.
Chicken had a light breading and was soooo juicy!
Brisket was smokey, meaty, and fell apart. Was great on a sandwich with slaw and as a separate entree.
-Sweet tea was amazing as promised. Filled up by our server immediately after finishing time and time again.
-Service was fantastic. Greeted like family the second we approached the doors, servers and kitchen staff were all friendly and asking if everything was good.
-Vibe was appropriate. Interior and music matched that of a classic BBQ joint. Very enjoyable.
-Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Two family bathrooms was a neat setup, two people could go anytime regardless of gender.
Cons:
-Seats were uncomfortable and tight. Would be awesome to see them upgraded but it wouldn’t ever stop me from coming back for the well-priced and delicious food.

Had a powerful hankering for some BBQ. Decided the closest place was Hog Fathers. Got the Backyard Special (Ribs, Chicken, Sausage) It has been a VERY long time since I had food this bad. Those black squigly things under the ribs are supposed to be peppers & onions. That charcoaled brick on the plate beside the chicken was supposed to be a link of sausage. The chicken had so much salt . . .
Needless to say thank God for the beans and coleslaw or I would have starved. There must be a reason they fold the bag over and staple it together.

Good staff, good other food, terrible brisket.
You don’t take slices of brisket and throw them on the grill. The brisket was mostly dry and burnt. Cannot express how disappointed I am after hearing good things about it.
