The restaurant looks great, bar looks great, etc. The food is terrible. I ordered a quinoa bowl with skirt steak. The steak couldn’t be cut, the quinoa came out ice cold. We also ordered the salmon. It was good, quinoa warm. The tomato soup tasted like it came straight out of a can. The appitisers did not come out correctly. The staff corrected it by bringing out the other ingredients such as the honey and jig jam for the Bree. The ambiance was great. The staff had a great attitude. I do not recommend the food. I hope it changes. I will be back to try again some day.

Food and cocktails were a disappointment. My salad was underdressed and the protein was dry and overcooked. Taos sour tasted like sour fish and smoke. Espresso martini was just pure coffee liquor. Our server was a highlight. She was nice and super attentive. The ambiance is beautiful. The wine selection was also nice, not extensive but the two we tried were great.

Lovely location, on the mountain. Cocktails were excellent and the service was so friendly and personable. We had pizza, which was relatively good. Overall, the experience was great, not entirely sure why the restaurant has a 3.9 star rating at the time of writing this. We did visit in the off-season, however, which might make a difference.

We stayed at the base of Taos Ski Valley for the week and this place was incredible! We had multiple meals here. Truly don’t know how they have anything but 5 stars. Our trip was late January and how busy it was varied but the service was excellent always. We enjoyed lunch and dinner, as well as daily apres by the fire. The staff was super kind, went out of their way multiple times to make off menu drinks and keep our drinks and tables filled. Def get the baked Brie, the straciatella was great if you’re into soup, the hot Italian lunch sandwich was elite. I wish I could remember each server to personally shout out but know we had 10/10 experience.

The appetizers were really good, witches saving this from being a straight 1. We ordered the salmon, halibut, and duck. The duck was only okay, but was by far the best meal at the table. The halibut was tasteless and drenched in oil, while the salmon had the texture of sawdust. The quinoa that the salmon was served on was completely devoid of flavor, and the beurre blanc was much closer to unsalted butter than an actual beurre blanc.
The baked brie was really good though

Don’t! Service and Atmosphere were great but food was lacking. I might be back for the ambiance and a glass of wine, but I won’t show up hungry. Pizza was not on the menu so this might be a new menu.
We had the Brie appetizer and it was missing the honey and fig. The tomato basil soup tasted like it came out of a can. The pasta dish had chocolate and cinnamon in it which didn’t work. The kids pasta was super dry. The steak was full of grizzle. There was not one item that was enjoyable.

Staff was great, food was disappointing and over priced.
We ordered the schnitzel – the meat was not great, and the ‘warm potatos’ were cold.
We also ordered the beet salad ( it was interesting, but over-priced), and the soup of the day ( a chicken broth based – it was ok)
The online menu is not the menu they offer. And selection of items was poor.
Prices are too high, quality of food was not great.
We have eaten here in past years and noticed the quality has gone down, we were disappointed this time around.
I wouldn’t recommend it.

We ate here twice on our recent visit to Taos (Feb 2025). The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional! The Sunshine Daydream Pizza, the burger, and the Hummus were all excellent. Will definitely go back!

This hotel restaurant is attempting to find its identity and is a hot & cold with its overall performance. We ate there two times during our last trip to Taos Ski Valley. The first time, we had a good experience with good service and food. The rosemary fries and margarita pizza are good. The second time, we were treated like an annoyance because we asked for the kids pasta that is on the menu. I guess the chef did not want to make pasta that day for kiddos. It is one of the nicer and certainly the most expensive restaurant on the mountain.
