The veggie Enchiladas were ok. It would of been really good if they would of added a delicious spicy sauce to the Enchiladas. It almost tasted dry. You can see in the picture how the tortilla looked dry .
What I really liked about the meal here was the Beekeeper cocktail . Wow! This cocktail is my favorite from now on. My first time trying this cocktail. It has Empress Gin , lavander , honey and lemon . It has an exquisite taste that I love so much. . . I love this cocktail so much now. Its perfect.
They have really nice and super clean restrooms here. I appreciate the service here . Thank you.

I came to eat with two close friends. We were warmly greeted and seated within 2 minutes. The menu options are flavorful, with several healthy options. There is a bar, and Jason, the waiter we were assigned was most attentive and welcoming. The Salmon Cesar was excellent, the latte I had afterwards was also. We have been here before, and although on occasion I have seen some employees lag a little, this time they all seemed on point. The location in the lobby of the hotel for City of Hope is new , modern and comfortable, with outdoor seating available.

Wonderful dining experience. Staff pays close attention to detail from beginning to end. This it a hidden gem, glad our friends recommended the restaurant. Enjoyed the tasty turkey BLT and salad, Cobb salad and Bloody Mary. We will definitely return soon, looking forward to dinner options.

This restaurant is in the hotel at Hope Village, City of Hope, Duarte CA. They have excellent food and service and a well curated wine cellar. We always dine here when we stay at the hotel ( patients only at hotel). The staff are friendly and attentive. The menu changes seasonally. This time we have 2 people and booked a table inside. There are not too many tables. The environment is bright and clean. All waiters and waitresses are polite, but seem to be very busy. The food is great. I like the salmon bowl. Best salmon I have ever.
The sides especially the salad are nice. I like the fresh lemon juice on top of vegetables. The sandwich bread tasted burnt which didn’t impress me.
We made reservations for a group lunch. It might be because there wasn’t enough seating indoor, so let us eat outside. It was too hot to eat outside at lunch time in this season and the heat made me lose my appetite. Slightly disappointed for this.

If you’re a patron of the City of Hope hospital in Duarte, don’t forget to stop by the 1913 Restaurant. It is clean, sleek, and furnishings are up to date. The food is delish, gives you that homey feeling and very welcoming. This will be our go-to from now on whenever we’re at COH.

Restaurant in the hotel on the northwest most corner on the campus of City of Hope. There are a few tables indoors and about an equal amount outdoors on the patio with nice umbrellas available. Food is chef prepared, but also part of the Nourish program. Had the vegetable lentil, which was not full of salt, as soups usually are. Other seasonings were light and was a bit bland, which is good, because many people eating there are having cancer treatments, etc. Also had the steak with mashed potatoes and spinach. Steak was aged, had a nice seared, and was cooked perfectly. Potatoes were slightly cheesy and the spinach was flavored with salt. All delicious. My friend had the Lantern salad, which is similar to an Asian Chicken salad. It was crunchy and delicious.

We had some family we wanted to grab dinner with and in an effort to meet in the middle from IE and LA, I stumbled across 1913 Restaurant.
Overall – a very enjoyable experience with truly excellent food and great service.
The major thing to note, it’s in the first floor of a healthcare building, which is a bit odd if you think you’re coming into a stand alone restaurant experience. When looking on the website, this detail eluded me, but we had a nice time nonetheless.
The finishes are very nice and overall, they do a good job of making it feel separate from the other happenings.
Food was truly great. I highly recommend the pork chop, one of the best I’ve had in recent memory. Everyone else in our party, enjoyed their food as well as appetizers and desserts (the cheesecake was great!)
Our server Ariana was stellar.
Overall, great experience!
