Tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. We’re excited to try new places and so glad we stopped in!!! Excellent food, excellent service! The Fried Mushrooms were HOT and juicy! The Breakfast Burger was great! The Wing Flight is amazing and cooked to perfection! Very reasonably priced compared with others at the beach! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, I wish we remembered her name. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back! Kill Devil Hills BEST hidden secret!!!

First visit. Staff was very friendly and food good. Love the slider, taco and pizza flights. I got the taco sliders of flour tortillas.
Tap list was short with local, which we like. And yes, there is PBR. Lots of TVs to watch the games and hang with friends.

1903 is one of the coolest little places in OBX! The food is great and full of flavor. From the hostess to one of the chefs everyone was extremely friendly and happy we were there. Our waitress, Grace, is awesome! She was friendly and took the time to visit even while maintaining a professional environment and continued to take care of all of her tables. Marty at the bar is awesome as well! You cannot go wrong stopping in at 1903 for a drink and/or a great meal.

Very friendly hostess when we walked in. Also, our waitress welcomed us with “welcome my new best friends” which set the tone for a pleasant visit. She was attentive while not hovering and was quite helpful in answering any of our questions and food selections. My husband had a taco flight (you can pick up to 3 kinds of tacos. He said they were all very good. I had a wing flight with 2 different sauces as well as an order ofntruffle fries. Everything tasted very good. We’ll definitely be going back!

Excellent food and atmosphere. Very decorated for for Christmas. Had the bang bang shrimp, pork belly egg rolls, fried mushrooms, fried green tomato Sammy and pickle brined fried chicken sandwich with truffle fries. All were delicious. The fries are a unique thick cut slice of potato, similar to au gratin, but cooked well. The Espresso Claus was a great drink. Looking forward to the Christmas Eve pop up! Attached are specific holiday choices, but they also serve the regular menu.

This review is based on just a carry out order. We have not eaten in the restaurant so cannot comment on the staff or atmosphere…. The pickle brined fried chicken sandwich was tasty and moist. However I am including a picture of the $7 fish taco and the $7 shrimp taco – What a disappointment when we opened our carry out boxes at home :(. Look for yourselves.

We had a date night dinner at 1903. There is a large bar and pool table on one side, with dining on the other side. The wings, truffle fries, and tacos were all very flavorful and tasty! They have an interesting concept of “flights of food”, so you can mix within categories, like the tacos, pizza, wings, etc. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The only negative is the dining seating could be more comfortable, but we do plan to return for the good food.

We got fried pickles as an appetizer they were delicious! I got the green house salad with ranch very fresh was good! My husband got the brisket melt it was too greasy for his liking but still had very good flavor! I ordered the Margarita pizza they was very accommodating when I asked for extra tomato’s the waitress came back and told me that the pizza didn’t come with tomato’s but they would still put them on there if I wanted and I said yes! When the pizza arrived tomato’s was on it so I was happy with that but what I wasn’t happy about was the taste! I’m only saying this to help them as a couple was talking about how this restaurant is new! The pizza had no flavors what so ever super bland it was honestly the only pizza I’ve ever tasted and didn’t like! The crust tasted like cardboard the sauce was too much and no flavor!

I recently had a mini-reunion with some dear friends at 1903, and it was the perfect location. We started at the bar while waiting for our friends, and the interaction with the bartender was wonderful. She was friendly and had a great sense of humor. 1903 also carried one of my favorite bourbons, 18-year-old Elijah Craig, and the bartender made an amazing Old Fashioned.
The restaurant offers flights of different foods, such as pizza, wings, and sliders. I ordered the wing flight with the hottest sauces available, and it was delicious. My wife ordered pizza, and it was also delicious. Our friends’ food and drinks were excellent as well. The wait staff was amazing, attentive, and fun.
Overall, 1903 offers a friendly, fun, and casual atmosphere with reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

A group of us came in yesterday, snow day. $1 wings were great. $3 beer was great. Opening bartender, so nice. Great vibe. Opened up for us locals that wanted a place to go. Another bartender came in and was UGLY to our bartender. No idea why. We gave her cash so she would get a tip. New bartender told us we had to give her cash or she wouldn’t get a tip because she was there now. Was weird. Never leave reviews but felt like we needed to. While talking to us our bartender told us she worked at Shipwrecks too, will be going to see her there. 5 stars for food and first bartender. 1 star for next bartender. Completely changed our vibe.
