Popped by the soft opening and had a few drinks with a tour. No food options yet, I’ll get back to that when they open. But for the bar, a ton of taps, hard liquor and great fire pits . The building has 3 levels. Top deck not done yet but will be awesome with great views!

Great for groups who want something more upscale than a dive bar and don’t mind grabbing their own drinks.
But the “view” is of rundown buildings. Even though the construction is beautiful, the bartender I had didn’t know anything about beer (I told her I wanted a West Coast IPA and she said most of the beers are local), and all the staff, plus the owner were more interested in their own tasks than customer service. No friendly hellos or anything, lots of conversations between staff… No tact or professionalism in the slightest, go to Decibel for that. I felt like I was a burden. I was the only one at the bar and starting a conversation with a bartender who seemed more interested in speaking with her coworker or switching the music track suddenly, or texting on her phone felt like a bother. I immediately saw why they were empty and it’s too bad because I was looking forward to this place opening. I spoke with another food truck owner that said the rent here is 3x what they charge at the food station near the Main Street max line so I doubt it will fill up quickly (all they have is a duplicate of a truck that’s already at the other food station by the max) plus none are currently open and they don’t have a timeline on when construction is done. The top floor does not allow dogs and the floor that does has a hardwood stairwell leading to it- not sure who thought that was a great idea… I would hate to take that on a rainy day. There is a restroom on the bottom floor to the left of the bar. The service didn’t match the quality of the atmosphere and wasn’t worth the $7.50 beer I can get for $5 across the street at Milwaukie Beer Store or at River Roadhouse with table service and a view plus amazing service. The seats are iron with a cushion, no big leather sofas or anything friendly for larger folks. They do serve non alcoholic drinks like most places in Milwaukie and there are TVs upstairs. But the fire pit is in the middle of the walk area and I have one of those on my deck at Axletree Apartments with a real view. This can be a hit or miss depending on what you’re looking for but I’d pass if you’re going solo. Overbuilt and overpriced.
