From drinks to dessert this establishment has it nailed. Perfect portions, exquisite presentation, delicious food and humble rustic atmosphere. Best Manhattan I’ve had in years, kudos to our bartender. The wait staff is readily available but not intrusive to your dining experience. You can tell the chef prides his art. We will certainly be back again and again.

Went for Sunday morning brunch. The food was excellent, and they have bottomless mimosas for 12 dollars which is an absolutely incredible deal. Had a party of four, and it would have been much easier on our server if they allowed him to serve us a pitcher rather than taking our glasses for refills every time he walked by.
The food and service were good, however it seems the owner has no experience in food service but still tries to micromanage the staff. The owner should hire an experienced manager and be more hands-off with the wait staff and this place would be 5 stars.

New to town and this establishment my first experience was a quiet dinner for two. The dinner was a complete surprise. The duck was cooked perfectly and short ribs were comparable. It was obvious that the meals were cooked by a chef or a chef inspired cook. The service was delightful as well. I enjoyed the meal so well I purchased a substantial gift card for a friend. I would recommend dinner at 1774 if you don’t mind paying extra for the experience and food. Do not sit at the bar a second experience there before a show was a disaster as both bartenders seem to ignore our presence and severed other nee patrons and refreshed other drinks completely ignoring presence until we put our coats on to leave for our show. Anyone want a gift card at a nice discount?

First time I have been here and everything was amazing. We started out splitting the calamari and Mac and cheese as an appetizer. Both were excellent. My father and I had the Dick leg, my mother had the beef tenderloin and my wife had the scallops. We all split the Irish Car Bomb Sundae for dessert. Everyone ate everything and we were stuffed. The dessert serving was small for 4 people so if you are a big eater don’t share. Total for 4 people with 3 beers 2 glasses of wine, 2 appetizers and 4 entrees was $215.00 plus $43.00 tip.
Service was good better than most places you go to. The waitresses knowledge of the beer on tap was ok and she asked the bartender if she wasn’t sure about a question I had. It would have been nice to see a list of the beer on tap with descriptions.

We came with a very large party and had the pleasure of having Michael as our server. The food was amazing but aside from that, Michael was phenomenal. He was beyond phenomenal. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time large in part to him. He somehow managed to accommodate our large group plus at least another 10 tables entirely by himself. He was doing the job of at least 3 others. It was incredible to watch. Almost as if he was the conductor of a well orchestrated symphony…but it was just him.
We never felt like we were waiting, you would have thought the guy cloned himself. Talk about someone who is incredibly good at their job! Michael really made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. Oh, and did I mention how great the food was? Hats off to the kitchen. Great, great, great experience. A++++ all around.

From the time I walked in this place was terrible. Oh there is no place to actually check in for your reservation let alone them actually have a place for your reservation. Told to wait an extra 10 minutes which turned into 45 minutes. Then you sit and order a drink which takes 15 minutes to come out. Then another 20 minutes to order. The food comes out cold and I didn’t get my appetizer that I ordered. Not to mention I had to ask for my check 3 times and was asked 4 times if I wanted dessert and said no each time. Extremely rude and disrespectful staff. Would not even look at me when they talked and walked away as I asked a question. If I could this place would have choice words along with a 0 star rating. Oh while eating 4 other couples just got up and left because of the terrible service. So after all the waiting and terrible treatment from the staff along with forgetting my soup this place deserves 0 stars.

I never heard of this place before we discovered it last week. We went ahead and tried it. My girlfriend loved her seafood meal. Prices are def above average but the quality of food and service you receive is better than average. The place is clean and does not feel like a grille and tap as much as a more fine dining experience. We will def go back again in the future.

I heard a lot of people talking about how great this place was and finally I got around to trying it! It’s a very beautiful venue with a cozy atmosphere, extremely helpful and friendly staff, and the best food. Could not have asked for a better experience!! I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and it has now become my new favorite place! Also the dessert is all made in house so it is a must try when you go.

Great atmosphere….too busy on Valentine’s Day for us to get the great service I had last time I was there. Food was delicious; striped bass for me and my companion had the duck and said it was perfect. I thought it was strange my fish wasn’t served with a vegetable and the duck wasn’t served with a starch. I didn’t read the menu carfully enough.

Seafood was great. Excellent service and owner took the time to make sure we were happy with our dinner. Valet parking available out front. Cozy atmosphere with dinning room areas and full bar. Outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Will be going back again. Really had a nice experience.
