The appetizer was a phenomenal start to the evening with a fresh twist on a classic, pairing perfectly cooked duck with fresh burrata. We held my sisters 60th birthday dinner there. I must say the food was excellent. There were over 20 of us. Because of the size of the group, we had a choice of 3 set menus, picking one set menu for the entire group. Each set menu had 3 excellent entrees to choose from. The service was great. We had an amazing experience at 1700° Steakhouse while celebrating my husband’s birthday! The atmosphere was elegant but still comfortable, and our waiter, Rob made the night even better with his friendly and accommodating service.
Our steaks were cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared with their Point Reyes bleu cheese topping. We also enjoyed the seasoned wedge potatoes and the broccolini, which were both delicious and well-seasoned.
Overall, everything from the food to the service was outstanding. We’ll definitely be coming back!

1700 went above and beyond. We were late because of traffic issues and they accommodated the issue. Maya guided us in with a very pleasant demeanor that is so very hard to find. When we arrived we were seated immediately and got drinks right away. We ordered and Mark was simply lovely. Mark noticed that my steak was more done than he thought it should be, he swooped into action. Without me saying a word he had a manager come to the table to make sure I was ok with the meal. That take an exceptional server! Thank you 1700 team for making our New Year’s eve meal special.

Staff were amazing the place is in a difficult area to get to dt Harrisburg inside the hilton the steak looks great and the approve sauce what tastes good on a flip-flop however the steak was tough and not very well evenly marbled if you’re in the area not a bad place to go to but for the price tag would not recommend

Love the ribeye! I’ve only been in town two weeks and have eaten here 3 times! Yes, it’s located in the Hilton, but very worth the trip. Have I mentioned the ribeye? Not sure how it’s seasoned but it’s perfect. You can add scallops or bacon or crab to it as well as other options. I also really like that side of the bar, it’s located opposite their other restaurant and it feels like a different room all together. The bartenders were really attentive and had a great selection of cocktails and spirits. It goes without saying that I’ll be going back, and you should too!

My medium 21-day aged NY strip was fatty, cold and tough. The preparation had a glaze over it due to sitting too long before being served. The server offered another glass of wine after I’d asked about the 45 minute delay, and then charged me for it . (I didn’t agree to the second glass, he just brought it over.) I stay at the Hilton often when visiting Harrisburg. I don’t believe I will be dining at 1700 again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at 1700 Steakhouse. The restaurant is beautiful, and the food was excellent.
We had a four-course meal that included a fresh salad, lobster mac and cheese, and the Faroe Island salmon, which was perfectly prepared. We finished with chocolate cake, which was a great ending to the meal.
We were a party of 15 celebrating our end-of-year holiday dinner and traveled about two hours to meet centrally. The staff handled our group very well, and the experience was well worth the drive. I would definitely recommend 1700 Steakhouse for a special occasion or group dinner.

How this place only has a 4.5 is crazy. This is the only steakhouse you should consider visiting in the area. Moving from NY where there are many good ones to choose from, it was tough to find something up to par. This place rose to the occasion! From the visual menu, to the atmosphere to the food… fantastic job. The waiter was attentive but not demanding of conversation. Many try to talk while your chewing. This guy was on point! Loves every part of this experience. Will be back!
