After a day at the Two Mississippi Museums, we were looking for some good food for an early dinner. This place had good reviews, so we showed up about 330pm. I ordered the fried shrimp with french fries (It was about 8 small shrimp, not medium or jumbo), and my husband had the hamburger with french fries. We also got a couple of Cokes. It came to $38.13 before tip. The food is served in styrofoam with plastic utensils. We ate on a picnic table. No one came to see if we needed anything. The food was excellent, but we felt the price was a little on the high side for what you get. Everyone was very friendly and that was the coldest Coke I think I’ve ever drank. We would go back unless on a tight budget.

The food had the potential to be decent, but the older lady behind the counter saw the car I was driving and decided to charge me extra for everything. I placed a to-go order over the phone, and when I arrived, she was standing in the door. When she saw me pull up, she went behind the counter immediately. There were no menus in sight (I looked), so I couldn’t call her out when I saw “shrimp plate” pop up on the screen when I ordered a “shrimp po-boy.” I asked her about it, and she responded, “I rang it up as a shrimp plate because it’s cheaper.” I checked online when I got in the car, and the shrimp plate is actually a dollar more than the shrimp po-boy. I had also ordered a Philly cheesesteak po-boy, and instead of the $17 sandwich, she rang it up as a “Deluxe Philly cheesesteak” for $24.99. Ill-gotten gains don’t last! Fortunately, my lights won’t be cut off because of the few dollars she stole; however, the public should beware. Ask for the price before you get off the phone for a call-in order, drive an old beat up car, or wear dirty oily clothes or something and maybe they won’t rob you like they did me.
As for the food, I went around 7 pm. I ordered four different entrees. The fries had definitely been cooked earlier in the day and barely reheated before being showered in season-all. The bread on the sandwiches was hard to chew and tough. The wings were also not recently fried or crispy. The chicken on the loaded fries was also old and rubbery; my wife didn’t even eat it. The burger was a good size, but it was undercooked.
Had I not been robbed, I would have considered returning during the day; maybe the food would be good if it were fresh. But, I’ve given this establishment $97 ($10 of which was a tip) and that’s about all I’m willing to have stolen from me.

Went at lunch time. Ordered a Cheeseburger and fries. Everything was good.!! Didn’t take long +I wanted something quick. I asked to used the restroom and find a gym. I wanted to go work out before I ate lunch. I loved the idea of working out and Eating at the same place.

The food here is usually good but tonight I was very disappointed. I ordered the Cajun Seafood Pasta and the Small Pantrout Dinner. My Pasta was very dry it had spice but lacked flavor creaminess and no tomato based sauce. I also did not have any lump crab meat in my pasta. I feel cheated. I paid for it yet never got it. My Pantrout Dinner was completely wrong. It was supposed to be pan seared according to the menu with veggies and lemon capers sauce. Moreover, I got dry fried Pantrout with fries ,not cool at all.

It’s an alright stop. We arrived on 7/26 around 4p. Inside was a little hot for a sit down and eat stop but we made it work turning fans our way.
Wanted a little more understanding on some of the menu item descriptions, cashier wasn’t very helpful (crawfish sauce?) so I ordered it anyway just to try. We had a large group of 10, variety of items order. I recommend the Philly poboy. I was able to taste various items and out of everything this would be the one thing I would recommend. The wings might be another choice but I don’t really like wings and that’s just my preference. Catfish with crawfish sauce, rice, and broccoli – it doesn’t feel like a cohesive dish. Catfish was good, the rest was just ok and there. The food looks better than it tastes. The photos set a really high standard, if I weren’t able to see the photos maybe my expectation would have been met

They were very accommodating when it came to a order they were unable to fill and ensured that I was beyond satisfied for being understanding and patient. Also, got to enjoy dining in with my sister and niece whom was also pleased with their order.

Omg….my first time eating here and it was so delicious I am a bird eater but I smashed this plate. The flavor of the food was so delicious omg…the lamb chops were also very tender and flavorful to my liking. I could not complain at all about my meal; I usually have to do touch ups to my food but this no sir no touch ups were needed at all. Also, the workers were so beautiful and so polite and most importantly they have a clean establishment I will definitely be visiting here again without a doubt.~QueenD
